Get a grip — given the tone of your comment and the feeling that Apple needs to "sack" their web team because the store wasn't available at midnight like you wanted, I can say with relative certainty that I have probably been using Apple products for longer than you have been alive, and I'm not worried.

Umm Apple did say a time. And it's bad PR when they can't get their website or streams working by their own deadline. Should I expect Apple Pay to fail on Black Friday?

I ordered 2 phones for my wife and I through Att website as well. I DID get a confirmation email from them though. You should get that or have that. Until you get a confirmation email, I would hold off canceling any order yet.

Last time I ordered through Att like this, it took a day or so for my order status to show up on their website.

listen, I am tired and I just want to order the phones..... so I can get some damn sleep before I have to go to work at 7:30 am.... I don't anything about Chrome beta and whatever....

I had to do this. The 'upgrade this phone' kept showing Unavailable with the app, so for the heck of it, I tried the Upgrade another line, entered phone number, SSN, etc, and it all worked!

Give that a try! (VzW, Gray, 6+,128)
 
Finally got through via the iPhone app, pending a few errors (tried site & iPad and no luck). iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Gray. Local pickup: La Jolla, CA

Got the order through the Apple Store app for the 6+ (Silver, 128GB) around 3:25am. Took me 2 tries, after the first one just hanged towards the end, but went back, did it all over again and it went through. Got confirmation for the 19th.

Here's to hoping they both hold and I actually get them on the 19th.

I remember when I got my 4S from Verizon, I got a similar message from them and got a little nervous, but it did actually arrive on the specified day. Just make sure you're home, in most cases they will not leave it at the door (nor would you want them to, probably).

Apple website said 12:01 on their website, didn't it? I'm so punchy from lack of sleep that I may be imagining it.
