Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

I am serious... ok, specifically on Beta 64bit if makes a difference, I already ordered, and still can access that page

It could be a DNS issue, load balancer issue, or cached page issue that some people might be able to get through and not others. I also have Chrome beta 64 bit on Mac and the store is still not up. Good that I got my order through the iPhone Apple Store app. Some years back I had a similar issue and I think I had to clear the cache in order to get to the page. I shouldn't have had to do this, a refresh should have done the trick, but I think I remember it didn't at the time. Anyway, I am trying with Safari, Firefox and Chrome and Apple's web store is down for me. I haven't tried deleting the cache or anything, just refresh button.

I said clear the cache and now I am not sure whether it was clearing the cache or removing the cookie (it might actually have been removing the cookie). However, I tried to remove the store.apple.com cookie from Chrome and it didn't help, still down.

43 minutes later, refreshing Safari, iPhone and iPad, I was able to get my wife her 128 Gold on the iPhone app, and a 128 Gold for my son on the ATT site.

It's 3.47AM in DC...one more hour of sleep then I hit the gym (or perhaps it hits me).

Apple Store app down now, with nothing from apple.com or t-mobile. Might just try what the T-Mobile guy told me today and preorder it at the store in the morning. If not, guess I'll wait a month or so for them to restock it.

Wow, that was frustrating but finally was able to place order thru the Apple app on my iPhone. Ended up with 3 phones in cart, and blew off adding Apple care + since it just wouldn't take and add to cart.

Each step took several reload attempts but finally received confirmation on a 6+ 64 GB Space Gray for store pickup on the 19th.

Did see any mention of purchasing Applecare+ when you placed your order? I didn't see it when I ordered it through the app like I did last year when I ordered my 5s. I guess we can buy it within so many days right?

You're right. No mention of Applecare+ during checkout. I think it can be purchased within 30 days of getting the phone.

Finally got my order through using the App... What a PITA this was, but it's over... The second stint wait starts now. I was able to add Apple Care through the app too.

Finally got through on the Ipad App - only to be told I can't create a new Verizon account in app - redirected to apple website, which is still down for me.

All I wanna do is leave ATT :<

The Verizon site has been up and I've been able to order through there, only it doesn't show the option of the single line plan, just the "More Everything" intended for multilines, regardless of the fact I'm only ordering one device.

Pre-ordered a 6+ 128 silver on the AT&T site. Took a bit but is doable.

I got through on the AT&T web site. Apple Store is still down for me.

I am a bit nervous though. It looks like it is done by a 3rd party ( Shop Express
AT&T).

I don't know when I 'll get email confirmation. Also, I doubt they have as many phones as Apple, so I wonder if I did wrong.

What a farce.

Managed to order a 4.7" 64 gig in gold for my Wife and a 64 gig 5.5" in silver for me.

Both are showing as delivery on 19th.

I just hope Apple don't use the same team as they did for the iPhone Keynote and the pre orders.

Just got my 6+ gold 64gb on the iPad app. Neither iPhone app, apple site, or Verizon site worked. Delivery on 9/19!
