Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

It was available as an accessory. I tried but it wouldn't add to my cart. I just ordered the phone and crossing my fingers I can add it later.
Another iPhone preorder gong show, but managed to somehow get both my 64GB Space Gray 6 Plus and 16GB Gold 6 (for the wife) through the iPad Apple Store App.
51 minutes in and Apple.com/store still says "We'll be back". Classic. I guess $120B in the bank still can't buy servers that can handle this stuff. Puzzling 7 years in to this whole shebang. Anyway, I'm happy and excited for 9/19...goodnight all and good luck!

Managed to grab a Silver and Space Grey 6 Plus off the website, delivery by 19/9. (Ones for me, ones for my cousin. I'm not one of those tramps to put it on eBay for an inflated price!)
I hope the phone number doesn't matter too much, I was rushing and there weren't enough characters to put it in & my area code.
Hopefully I can order a leather case later today too lol... I only had enough for the phone atm.

When ordering through ATT website... if you are on the ATT Premier Plan...is the Shop Express...Order Confirmation....Thank You for your order...page pop up standard? It gives me an order ID...but I don't receive an email or anything. I "check the status" of the Order ID and it is not recognized. Is anyone else experiencing the same thing? Did I order or is it a "false positive" page that I receive?
People calling the pre-order a mess should consider the amount to traffic hitting the sites. I'm guessing this will be one the best first day sellers for a long time.
Pre-ordered a 128GB 6 and a 128GB 6+ for my wife from Fido, now just have to see which one she wants. #2 in line for both. Apple Canada store still down...

...one thing, it wouldn't let me change the shipping address to my work place. Had to have it shipped to my apartment. Guess you can only use the billing address associated with your Apple account or Carrier (for me, AT&T) account?

For whatever is worth I wasn't doubting you. I think you hit some sort of sweet spot (load balancer, etc.) that allowed you to get to the server
By the time my I had my address entered for the 6 Plus (UK Store), it was already sold out Went for a 6 64gb instead - not expecting much loss in value if I sell it for a Plus later in November or December, when they become available again.

6 64GB Gold AT&T. Worked via iPhone app. Couldn't continue on iPad. Can't even get store on Safari. Delivers 9/19.

I just want to share this ******** with everyone:
Sigh, I ordered through AT&T's business website and it worked. I went through it so quickly that I don't even remember what color or storage option I selected.
First time in 5 years I haven't ordered directly from Apple. Thank god I have a business account.
Wow, iPhone 6 Plus is now 3-4 weeks delivery for UK for all models/colours unless you want 16Gb
