Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone 6 and 6 Plus Pre-Orders

I can't order an unlocked or T-Mobile on the iPad or iPhone app. They direct me to visit the full site.

Trying to buy an iPhone 6 128 Space AT&T phone in the app works (wait a minute for the 'Continue' button to light up) but it won't let me buy it outright. Next or contract only.

Still no love on the USA website loading.

Apple Canada online store and app still down, I'll just stick with the reservations I have from Fido and hope they don't take too long. At least I can put the reservation notice in my wife's birthday card...

Mine was too, just nervous that i didn't get an email confirmation! Oh the woes of being an early adopter. ;)

was that with a photo and it said "we can't reach the carrier systems to process your order, but we have reserved an iPhone for you"

I got that too and am waiting for this email.
 
Thank you to whoever first posted that ATT.com was up early. I got the two phones I wanted (64 gb iPhone 6 in Space Grey and 64gb iPhone 6 in Silver) both before 2am Central. Confirmation emails at 2:02 and 2:11 Central time and both orders showing when I click the links in the confirmation emails.

I was staying up to get cases, but they've never shown available on the Apple Store App. Will try to get those tomorrow.

At 4AM EDT the web site still says it is not open for me. At about ten after I got the iPad app to take an order but after getting all the way to where you pay, it gave an error. Had to start over and it says all unavailable.

Went to ATT site at around half past and it took my order for delivery on the 19th. Wanted in store pickup cause FedEx usually doesn't deliver until around 7PM but I guess I should consider myself lucky.

As soon as the store opened on the App I was able to get an ATT 6+ 64Gb gold but 6+ 64gb Space Gray kept saying unavailable. I kept refreshing and finally got one shipping through apple. Keep refreshing on Apple store app for the config you want.
 
SUCCUSS! **FINALLY*

Canada Apple Store on iOS. Space Gray 64GIG 4.7" delivers on the 19th. Web store still down. Email confirmation received.

Apple Store app just shows that all 6+ models are "currently unavailable". Can't get any further. I've tried dozens of times.
 
Got a "Sim free" unlocked 6Plus 128GB space grey with a 9/26-10/1 ship time. It said 9/19 at first but I had some trouble with my card at first (USA card, Japanese address).
Got through on the applestore app first, but I was still setup for the US store.
Finally got through on the mobile site.
Cost a pretty penny though. Roughly $1070 USD.

Ps Luckily it was only 4pm here! (but watching the keynote sucked)

This worked for me, although while it was adding to cart it made me refresh the server a few times. Says delivery 9/19

If you are trying to upgrade an ATT iPhone that you have in your hand…

Use that iPhone!

Turn off the wifi on that iPhone, so that you're using ATT's LTE data network!

Launch the Apple Store app, and proceed from there.

That worked for me. You get to a point where it asks you if you want to upgrade THIS phone, you say yes, then the rest of the process goes right through.

At about 3:50AM I placed the order this way to upgrade my ATT iPhone. Chose to pick it up at an Apple store. Says it will be available on 9/19. Got the order email receipt. Says they'll send another email to confirm when it's ready for pickup.

Good luck.

That's exactly what I did, mostly because LTE is faster than my WiFi and simply because the site wasn't loading. I think it did save some steps as it recognized my phone. Glad it worked though.

I have the same problem.. Was able to order and got my order ID but no confirmation email yet either nor can I check my order status online ordered at 3:10 and now I'm worried.
 
Using 2 iPhones and an iPad I finally got two iPhones ordered both using the phone from the line I was upgrading.

iPhone 6 64GB Space Gray
iPhone 6 16GB Gold

It took lots of retrying to get the currently unavailable message to go away and allow me to proceed with the order.

I just better be able to pay off the phone at an AT&T store.
 
This has to be the stupidest thing I've done in a long time - clicking Refresh on Apple website for over an hour at 2am for a stupid phone. F u Apple and the horse you rode on, I'm going to bed. This is not worth it...

Keep trying I eventually got the 6+ 64gb Space gray to show up after 40 mins in the app for ATT
