Apple store down as of 11.57am in Asia (U.S./Europe/etc. also)

well, new leopard install disks arrive on wednesday, so they may or may not work, if not.. in to applecare it goes :(
 
Well, they could corner the accessory market when it comes to screen protectors and cases. Seems like a lot of online stores are out of stock and back ordered to the hilt.
 
This close the the iPhone 3G launch I can believe apple would put any other product out.

(of course I was the idiot who said there is no way Apple would put out anything before MacWorld, and that there is no way we would see a MacPro revision at MacWorld, and of course they showed me by releasing a new MacPro a week before MacWorld! :rolleyes: )

That said I can always hope for a new Cinema Display!

well maybe it will go up and running 12 am pst and i think it can be price drops on macs or ipods maybe?
 
It feels like it's iPhone related somehow. Although going live with the App Store wouldn't really necessitate the online store being taken down, it makes the most sense. Maybe it's just wishful thinking...

I too am fighting to stay awake, at least you are a time-zone behind me (or two, I always forget where Michigan falls on them). It is 1:05 here and I am fighting to stay awake, the late-night comedy sucks tonight and there is no laughter to keep me up.

REFRESHING APPLE PAGE EVERY MINUTE NOW

My guesses are MobileMe ordering, iPhone ordering (not likely), iTunes 7.7, and other deals like that.
 
If it is the istore coming online, won't we have to have vs2.0 software to download it wirelessly? OK OK I am dumb but was just asking.

I want it to be an updated Macbook Pro (since that is what I am waiting to buy), but I expect it to be iPhone related such as MobileMe preorders/3G iPhone cases.

LOL, you do realise, it's not actually reloading the store site, but merely the saved html from your desktop, right?

Or perhaps, that's just part of the joke :D
 
Also, didn't we see rumors awhile back about a revamped Apple Store with an almost "walk-in" experience, or am I off base here? Seems like that may be a good thing to add before the new iPhone?
