Also, didn't we see rumors awhile back about a revamped Apple Store with an almost "walk-in" experience, or am I off base here? Seems like that may be a good thing to add before the new iPhone?

oh yea? you could talk to other people shopping and stuff..

i dont think apple would try this out on such a busy week for them..

for you guys' sake (and mine, because i was sick of reloading the page...)
I created a page that will reload the store every 3 seconds...

it's attached, so enjoy! :p

Wow, the hysteria on this page is palatable! Makes me giddy!

wat r u top 5 guesses

mine

1. mac mini
2. App store
3. mobile me
4. iphone related
5. itunes store music (A while ago a rumor came out that itunes would do like pay 20 bucks for unlimited songs for a month thing) :apple:

I don't know about guesses, but here are my wishes (and none of them are going to happen tonight):

1. Updated Apple Cinema Displays
2. Quad Core 30" iMac
3. Keep the flow going with price drops and drop the price a little on the MacPro
4. Updated Mini
5. A version of Final Cut Studio that utilizes all cores of whatever machine you're using.

Yeah, but isn't the iTunes Store like the top music download store? So why would they need to change to a subscription basis? And 20 dollars for unlimited songs is so bad for Apple...

LOL, you do realise, it's not actually reloading the store site, but merely the saved html from your desktop, right?

Or perhaps, that's just part of the joke
look at the code of the page, I am getting a live update of
http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore/

every 3 seconds
:)

I am loading the store within an iFrame, and when the the html page that I wrote is reloaded it reloads the iFrame contents...

wont download for me..
What does it do?
Assuming MacRumors is allowing you to download it, you should be able to unzip (if it isnt automatically by Safari) then open it in the browser of your choice...

LOL, oh, so it's no joke.

Now, try unzipping that file you gave to us all, and disconnect your airport. Funnily enough it can still reload. As it's simply re-reding the file you unzipped.

If you don't believe me, then try with the airport, as I told you, or even when the apple store goes live. Your html (the zipped one) will look exactly as it does now.
