Do you guys think there will be a BACK TO SCHOOL promotion this year? For me it would really be an extra % off, because i would sell it as i have an iPhone and 2 iPods. But i would byte my ass off if i wait till june and then there's no promotion

i'm pretty certain the 13'' MacBook Pros will retain core 2 duo chips just a faster clock speed, perhaps even the same graphics or ATI on the higher end similar to how the iMacs are now done

I would really love a back to school promotion that included a discount on iPads. I would probably trade in my big desktop PC and Macbook for a 15" MBP and iPad.
If that's the case then the top spec 15 incher looks the best choice for me. Outrageously expensive though.

None of the clock speeds match up with a quad core i7 on any of models, even the 15 or 17.
At best, we'll get dual core i7

How long after a refresh are systems typically available in store for pickup? Obviously, nobody will know for a fact till the store is back up. I was simply speaking historically about if there was a trend.
