Following the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro becoming available for pre-orders, customers are facing a multitude of issues on Apple's online store and through the Apple Store app, seeing errors, the inability to confirm a purchase, and more.

Customers facing issues on Apple's online store and within the Apple Store app are advised to try reloading the page and app or trying again later. The issues facing customers are causing mass inconveniences as shipping dates for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max begin to slip. The iPhone 14, the iPhone 14 Pro, and the iPhone 14 Pro Max will begin arriving to customers on Friday, September 16. The iPhone 14 Plus will begin arriving on Friday, October 7.

Yup. App failed. Didn't allow access until 8:13am EST then it failed to place order for pick up.

Mobile Safari allowed the order for pick up at 1pm EST. At least I'm not going into work late.

I tried completing my preorder on 3 different devices: mac, ipad pro, iphone.

Worked well on my iPhone, order is in for a Sep 16 pickup at my local apple store.

On Mac, I could start the process but it froze after a few steps.

On ipad, the app was stuck on the "just a few more minutes" screen until about 15 minutes after pre-order time.

The lesson is: if you're having trouble placing your order, try a different device.

It's insane that Apple is still so bad at this with all their money and resources. I haven't tried preordering an iPhone in years and it's as bad as ever. The Apple Store didn't even show up for me until at least 10 minutes after, delivery dates already pushed back, multiple errors when checking out, phone removing itself from my cart, and an order even went through without giving me any confirmation so I actually ordered two. What a joke.

Ugh yup. I keep getting "Can't retrieve your info" every time I try to complete my Pre-order in the app.

I try on my computer, and I don't get an error, but it just takes me to my account page and nowhere to complete my order.

Yup. Pre-pre-ordered but both the app and website took almost 10 minutes to allow me into the store. Tried the usual refreshing/incognitio/force-closing to no success.

No point in pre-ordering just to get it 3 weeks late. I'll wait for the reviews and eSIM quirks to be worked out if I can't get it day one.

Worst ordering experience ever. 6-7 min after the alleged opening I got into the store on Apple's app (iPad). Went through the ordering but couldn't accept my phone number. Server error.

Great.

Reloaded website, finally got in. Order again. Only pickup available. Delivery slipped. Great. So I chose pickup. MAYOR lags everyhwere. Each time I picjked a pickup time and location and went to pay it errored out "time slot already taken". Over and over and over again at all six Apple stores in town. Honestly the worst f thing I've experienced in 15 years ordering.

So I changed it back to delivery. Time slipped again already into Mid-OCTOBER.

Well great. Thanks alot for letting me wait 5-6 weeks because you're too f stupid to run a webshop in 2022. Seriously. **** you Apple. If I didn't have a trade in I wouldn't even bother with you.
