Apple Store Experiencing Issues With iPhone 14 Pre-Orders

No problems here got in at 8:01 am EST and was done in about a minute. 2 pro max and airpods

Ordered very late on the AT&T website it says ships by 9/15, as a poster above also got ordering early.

If you have a carrier trade in, don't bother with Apple checkout. You won't get the option for it.

I prepared my order on Apple store app yesterday. App didn't go live until a few minutes after 8am ET. When it went live I was done and had email confirmations by 8:06am ET.

I had a heart attack on my second order but when I tried it again and told me that my number was attached to a reservation, I was relieved hahahah my airpods gave me a heart attack, this was the second time where the website literally crashed on me when i hit the submit button. The only way to verify was to check my order history to see if it was there!!!

the only Hiccup was the pickup windows on my local store changing through out the day!! I legit forgot about the airpods pro 2 until my girlfriend was like did you get them? And she paid for everything also!

AT&T crashed on me. I’m scared at the fact i went through the Military Veterans website and it charged me the 10% pricing on taxes but the contract had the full pricing, the rep on the phone told me it should be 10% all together so we will see!!!

After pre-pre-ordering last night and experiencing multiple errors after pre-order went live, my order finally went through!

Luckily, I got my order in after force closing the app and re-opening it for about 5 minutes, but the in-store pickup wouldn’t work for me. Does anyone if it’s pretty easy to get UPS to hold my package for pickup? Is there a time-frame I have to do this by?

The app would not load until 5:03PST. I was so frustrated and scared but glad I got my orders in with a promised launch date. Let's gooo! 1TB iPhone Forver! 👑

Mine went through without a glitch thankfully. I only went 512gb, up from my 256gb 12. Nice work with the 1tb.

I have tried to order several times through Apple and T-Mobile. T-Mobile was working fine at 8am, and I get to the final screen and it crashes. Was on the phone with a rep who said their whole system is down. Not sure what to do, was hoping to get this before a trip the week after launch.

Not in Australia. All carriers are showing availability day 1 and all models. Definitly looks like most are waiting for the USB-C iPhone 15 in 12 months.

Tried preordering for 30mn. Error when trying to confirm payment, couldn’t access the cart, lost all my pickup slot so had to change to delivery… order says delivering on the 16th still, but I’m sure it’ll change later when it’s confirmed. (No mail as of now and nothing in recent orders).
Truly the most horrible experience from all the preorder I was part of.
I wonder what happened this time.

Having taken the time to do the pre-order yesterday it sucks. Can't even see my pre-order anymore. Not fussed though, if I get in and the delivery dates are far into the future I will just wait for the 13 Pro to hit the refurb store and save. It will be fine for my needs and cheaper.

I blame Tim Apple. Steve Jobs is rolling in his grave. What a disaster.

Really?!? I remember the disaster when Jobs' Apple tried to roll out the 3G iPhone, the App Store and .me all on the same day. I also remember the activation nightmares that occurred for some people in the first few generations of iPhone. And, of course there's always "Antennagate"…

Steve's regime was definitely not without hiccups.

Standard is the only option, can't make it arrive faster (especially assuming you're receiving on the 16th)

Mine crashed when I clicked 'pay'. Repeat the order again, secured the order... only to realise my first order went through after all, and now I got myself not 1, but 2 iPhone Pro Max. 🤣

I had the same problem with my order, after multiple page load errors and misfiring buttons earlier in the process - worst Apple online store experience in recent memory. Who would have thought iPhones might be popular?

It should be possible to cancel one of the orders in the next couple of days, once the "please try again in a few hours" delay has passed. Just don't leave it long enough that they get to "preparing for shipment".

I'm in the Apple Upgrade program. The store was late opening up but as soon as it was it was just a couple clicks and I was done. Didn't pay exact attention to the time but was all done by 8:10
