I have a FAN account went through apple.com, passed att verification. One I selected to have it shipped to me though I got a reservation instead of being able to check out.

Hmm...good to know...I wonder if it's even worth "reserving" it

You have to select the Unlimited Data for iPhone 4S.

Read carefully, they made that page as confusing as possible.

AT&T was so easy. I gave up with the apple website.

AT&T FAST and easy... pre paid, free delivery on the 14th,


Don't even waste time on Apple.com, it's a MESS... every time I got "Your request couldn't be processed" Error!

I have a dcgovernment FAN discount and I was able to put in my account details and reserve it. I then received the email to go finalize my order and that page seems to be down. I cannot login. This is all on the apple site.

Seriously?! Now's the time to worry about that?! You don't give a dang any other day!

Recommend the AT&T site. Been trying on Apple forever. No luck.

super easy and fast. Placed order for white 16gb and white 32gb in minutes. Also, dont be afraid of the remove unlimited data message, the next step allows you to put that same unlimited plan back on your plan.

I do not understand. There is a Pre-Order button, not a checkbox.

choose where to get your new iphone and check out

However the apple website times out when i attempt to login. Luckily i have a couple days to hold my position in line.

The ATT site worked for me after failing on the Apple website 6-7 times. This was for a new account. Since I didn't get it through the apple site, I'm wondering "did it really work?" I got a confirmation email from ATT, so I guess I am in good shape. Now I just wait for the 14th. Good luck everyone!

I love it: I've been linking to the apple store through Discover's website (in order to get cashback), and after 1.5 hours, Discover's site goes down as well.
