Same here! I was actually able to get pretty far in the process earlier (before timing out), but looks like AT&T Premier is completely down and I can't get past checking for eligibility. Thinks it's time for bed...

Same here...i used to be able to get all the way through choosing my plan before getting kicked, but now I can't even get past checking for upgrade eligibility.

Then you select continue. On the next page the data options show up, including your grandfathered in $30 unlimited data option.

yeah I got that too, but that's cos I was trying to order via the Apple Store app, which seemed to time out on me, and then tried on my laptop...

ps - check yr email for a confirmation
 
Had to log into AT&T as if I was paying a bill to get the 4S option to show up. For both me and my gf's phones ordered. Going to bed. What a hassle.

Why can't Apple ever get this right??

False alarm..i just had to change to unlimited for iphone 4s. Its late/early.

Was finally successful and got my confirmation e-mail using the Apple Store App on my phone. Once you get it in to the cart and press checkout, sometimes it won't respond. Keep pressing check out until it asks for your apple password and you'll have a good shot of getting through. Good luck.
 
maybe next time they can have you pre-order your pre-order so that your upgrade eligibility is already intact. haha
 
Apparently this is all AT&T's fault. My friend on Sprint is now resting comfortably in his bed. I'm so upset I can barely see straight.
 
Well ****, if this is an issue with Premier then I really should just go to bed now. Gotta love AT&T...:eek:
 
Looks like AT&T doesn't know how to make a concurrent access database. Why the hell didn't Apple get a database of all upgradeable accounts for temporary keeping so that they wouldn't have to rely on external sites?
 
This is a far worse launch than iPhone 4, iPad 2, or any other major launch they've had online. I've been through them all.

I wonder if it's because Sprint has been added in the mix, or if the iPhone 4S demand was underestimated?
 
Hey Apple. This is for pre-order. Accept the order first then verify eligibility and pricing later over the next few days. Then ask customers to confirm.
