Me too! I can't get apple to go through either!
 
why can't my billing and shipping address be different..are you freaking kidding me right now?
 
Do we know when AT&T stores are opening in the morning? Has anyone been able to get an ATT Rep on the phone?
 
I just got my e-mail from Apple to complete my order...& now it's taking FOREVER..It keeps saying "error" in the address bar? I can't even pre-order the phone through AT&T. This is absolutely ridiculous.
 
Is anyone else getting the iPhone 4 options when pre-ordering the iPhone 4S? :confused:
 
Was wondering the same thing too. Both of our accounts are FANs. If that is the case then poops to AT&T.

getting the same crap with my FAN. apply site went through to the point of selecting if i wanted it shipped or to pick up in store.. then crapped out.

Have a FAN acct. too. Last year I couldn't preorder on AT&T but could on Apple but it seems like everything is a mess. Earlier I was able to get to select a data plan and hit enter but now I can't even get that far on the Apple site (AT&T keeps telling me to call).
 
ATT FAN Account

I believe that if you have an ATT FAN discount account, that may be the problem. I cant get mine to go through on either Apple or ATT. Always kicks me out at the ATT verification step (although it works fine through the separate verification page - at least to tell me I can get the upgrade pricing).

This happened on on the previous iPhone upgrades. I eventually had to go to ATT store to order my iPhone. No rhyme nor reason. I am pretty sure I ordered online for my iPhone 4 last year on launch day.
 
4S is on at&t, but I can't purchase because I don't have a credit card matching the billing address (parents)...i think I'm **** out of luck...
 
This is DEFINITELY AT&T causing the problem for existing customers. Not Apple....I don't know what to do though. If I go to bed, tomorrow it'll end up being a "shipping in 3-4 weeks" type of situation like it was with everything else and I don't want to wait. If I'm going to wait, I may as well wait til the end of Nov and the other of my 2 accounts will be able to get it subsidized.

I'm getting the same error with a premiere account. This is complete BS. After waiting for 3 hours, if I can't get my iPhone on time (current iPhone is broken) and I have to spend 2 hours on the phone with customer service, I'm dropping AT&T and switching to Verizon. I've had enough.
 
AT&T wanted to remove my data plan!

Got my reservation e-mail from apple. Hopefully they won't mess it up.
 
WTF AT&T won't process my request because i'm a premiere line member? Error P1234?

Lots of problems with apple.com, so I went over to AT&T and completed the purchase in about 2 minutes. No issues at all.
 
Screw this. I'm too damn tired. I'll try again in a few hours. If that doesn't work, I'll hit a store next week. Not a happy camper.
