None whatsoever!

Applespider said:Not a hope in all probability - although you may get one by just turning up v early on Saturday morning. I believe in the past that you'd have had to be there by midnight in Japan and 5am in SF

ok will look out for you, you look like che right?
do
you think you will be playing games then? rather than talking... I should have looked out a book to read. I would say look out for someone in a denim jacket with a 6 colour apple on the back, but since that will under a ski jacket, you won't see it. just look for the guy in a woolly hat with lamas on the side (peruvian lama, as opposed to dala lamas.
I thought it better to leave the mac at home tonight, I will bring a hd packed with music and audio books (so we could have a bedtime story, as we freeze various bits off, dreaming of our beds and being tucked up nice and cozy (hey who's idea was it to sit outside a store in london all night long?)
People think I am completely barmy!
we could have a mac quiz!

blueskyredkite said:OK, so I park up at 3 or 4am and come and join the crowd. But where do I park? I'm OK on single yellows until 8.30 .... hmmm, that's not much good. What about parking meters? Does anyone know if the meters are intelligent enough to not start the clock until the parking restrictions are in force? How long can I park at a meter? What denomination coin do the meters take?
if you go to the uk store links on the apple site, they have 8 car parks listed, don't forget to pay the congestion charges (if applicable, don't know if it works on Sat)
miock
MemphisSoulStew said:If anyone is thinking of driving I had a look around today and found some free Saturday parking on meters not too far from Regent Street.
In the area around Petty France/Victoria Station/Scotland Yard there are several streets with meters that are free on Saturday, including Caxton Street, Queen Annes Gate and Old Queen Street. The nearest tube stations are St. James's Park and Westminster, but using either of those would involve a change at either Embankment or Victoria to get to Regent Street. Lower Regent Street is just a short walk across St James' Park though, so I'm going to walk it. I plan on parking up at about 5:45 am on Saturday.

jrwo said:I suspect that the campers and people catching 5am trains aren't going to come to that big a number. Whether 150 or 250 people all converge on the Store as the first trains start running is pure guesswork. But if I had *any* ability to get up that early in the morning, I'd probably be aiming for a train before 7 and expecting to have good odds of getting a bag. Might be wrong, though. 🙂

With people getting out of work and the die hards already there you could hit the 300 before too long
