Apple Store London to open November 21

keep up the posts. I am checking in on my Treo in the pub (and posting on it). As soon as it gets busy I'll be down with a pot of coffee and some grub to dole out.

We're at McDonalds in Oxford Street, where they've got free wi-fi (called Street New). They're also letting us charge up (my poor iBook battery.)

Yes but they'll only be letting a few hundred into the store at once and no more until they leave. So if at 9am, there's 1000 people, then you might stand around for a couple of hours before you get in.
I'm number 12 so should be in by 10.02!
Not as cold as I'd feared tho have just been for coffee. One litre of hot coffee in a flask for the 3am chills!
We can't wait outside the Apple Store since they're waiting for deliveries still and are building a barrier to stop people trying to jump in the queue later. So we're all encamped on the corner just out of Airport reach and wandering up to the store occasionally to perch on the windowledge and post. Rows of glowing Apples all in a row....

which was is the que going, just so i know when i arrive my taxi, getting a cab at 5 so get there by 5:30, its looking close for a lucky bag, is everyone thats in the line getting one ? if someone could do an update at like 5 am id be greatful, if i gave u my mobile number could one of u give me a text 🙂

it's gone. the dream is over. my parents will not take me to the apple store tomorrow. 😡 i honestly don't know what i'll do. 😱 screw the lucky bags - i'm not gonna get a t-shirt im not even gonna be able to experience the grand opening. oh well. maybe they'll open one in guildford. 🙁 🙁

Foolishly I was planning to roll up at 930 (am!) and pick up a lucky bag!
