This article has perfect timing for me. I visited American Dream for the first time today. I only stayed for a short time because I had to go somewhere else so I’ll make a more extensive visit in the future. It’s a nice upscale mall, not much different than some other Jersey malls with maybe the exception of the additional bells and whistles such as the water park, aquarium, ice rink, etc. I passed by the Apple Store and saw the December 3th opening date sign. I wonder if they’ll have some iPhone 14 Pro units in stock?

Strange mall to open an Apple Store in, there's just no enough traffic during the weekdays to visit this place. Also store can't open on Sundays due to Bergen County Blue Law. I give this location 2 years top.

I went to this mall for the first time last month when the FIFA World Cup trophy was being displayed!
I’ve actually never heard of the mall until last month. Got there around 8pm so I didn’t have a lot of time to explore but did see how they had an indoor “amusement water park” and a lot of rides. Thought it was cool but a bit pricy.
Overall I’ll probably go back to actually explore the whole mall. It’s very huge. Did have a huge food court in the top level. They have a big Mr.beast burger advertisement from the YouTuber. Also had a lot of empty store fronts.

How the hell does NJ have ELEVEN Apple stores?
I wish Apple would make stores in every big city in the world.
11 in NJ. Here in the Netherlands they are located in de west part of the country, 3 stores if I am correct.

I live in the center city “Utrecht”, with all highways and train track’s converging here, some would think this is the best location for something as big as an Apple Store, but no no, we can travel to Amsterdam for official apple service 😅

Interested to read the mall has an indoor ski/snowboard slope. Our local indoor real snow slope has just shut down which is a pity as it was a good place out of ski season to keep in practice as well as being in the same shopping complex as our local Apple Store (Braehead, Scotland). Big decision - do I save up for the forthcoming AS Mac Pro or do I instead save up for a trip to visit the American Dream? :) (I was a postgraduate student in Pittsburgh a few years ago and had a very positive experience during my time there - which included skiing and visiting the Apple Store)

I was hoping that the article or comments here would actually talk about where the store is located, how many floors, potential size lol etc.

feel like those are the details people want to know. can you shed light on some details from what you saw?

I can answer the location question at least. https://www.americandream.com/map. It'll be in the D Court

How the hell does NJ have ELEVEN Apple stores?
It has one of the most densely populated states in the country and most affluent residents. That being said, I think that they have definitely oversaturated the state of apple stores. There are like 9 millions residents and now 12 apple stores.

Man, this is the most generic looking "2005-2015 modern" mall I've ever seen...

This is where they opened the first actual Mr. Beast physical location.
Don't remind me... I had to take my son to the opening and it was an absolute mad house... I mean a total sugar show.

As for the Apple store, the one in Garden State Plaza is a 5 minute drive from my house so I'll stick to that one... American Dream is about 15 minutes from my house but it feels like its in another country... It's just very out of the way and in an odd location. It's just a weird mall and its Billions of dollars underwater.. I am surprised Apple is opening up there tbh.. They must have gotten a really sweet deal to come onboard and boost the place up a bit.

*edit* I also have an apple store 5 minute walk from work in NYC and the flagship 5th avenue store a 10 minute train ride away.. I guess I am pretty spoiled with Apple stores.

Perfect location, it's a massively overpriced **** show, you even have to pay for parking. But Apple will make a killing, wealthy people travel for hours just to come here. I live about 20 minutes away and have only gone twice. With the malls well documented woes I'll bet they offered space to Apple for a song to increase traffic.
