I'm not getting the need to 'mass produce' the iPad. Everyone has one, and the new version admittedly doesn't include much that would cause them to trade up.
With this mindset, Apple would never be better. The AirPods do need improvement in Various areas, even though they are a great product.
1.) Siri could be improved with expanded features and capabilities.
2.) Water resistance rating should be added.
3.) Noise isolation is another consideration.
4.) Audio improvements
5.) Battery enhancements
In your opinion. Other people recognize they are just like earpods without the wire...Other than the fact that they look ridiculous when on...
Maybe it’s the white, maybe they are just a little too long? Not sure what it is that makes people look so stupid when wearin them

It makes sense Apple would launch a new media consumption device (iPad) and accessory (AirPods) at their show time event.
None of my business how one spends their money but $50 for strips of Velcro or rubber is beyond bananas.

They didn’t last long. Maybe look for a more reliable brand? But I guess tossing a $160 product every two years to buy a new pair is exactly the type of consumer Apple wants.
Dont forget about the new ipod touch on that we also have cad image of it View attachment 826253
I would consider trading up from my iPad Air 2. The combination of specs and price has to be justifiable though. The Air 2 is definitely usable, but has trouble with HEVC, and a new 10" iPad would be a good excuse to finally pass the iPad Air 2 down to my kids.I'm not getting the need to 'mass produce' the iPad. AirPods need little improvement. It’s a great product.

I would upgrade for an Apple A11 or A10X with 4 GB RAM, for a decent price. That could be a lower end 10.2" iPad with screen/speakers/etc. like the current 9.7" model, or else mid-priced replacement for 10.5" Pro with better screen/speakers/etc. than the existing 9.7" iPad but also branded as a non-Pro.

BTW, even if these iPads don't make it into the event, I could see them getting a press release after with availability within a week or two.
3 GB would be acceptable for the low end model, but that would not likely have a laminated screen.Looking to upgrade from Air2 as well. Don't expect 4GB RAM; most likely 3GB. Need to have laminated screen and Pencil 2. Don't want to buy Pencil 1 or use a lesser display.

And a soft earbud construction to stay in better and reduce ambient noise. The $80 Apple headphones would be a good model for this. Mine are always falling out, usually at really inconvenient times (into the dog's water bowl, for example, or almost into a can of paint [thank goodness I have good reflexes and was able to swat them to the side as they fell towards the can!])Their startup connectivity reliability and talk-time battery life could absolutely be improved. And less slippery would be great. Aside from that I generally agree.
They are releasing them now for AirPower..
I really hope I can just buy a new case for my current ones.
I’m not sure I’ve ever had my ipad 12.9 answer a call automatically. Nor my mac. Nor my watch. On all of them I have to actively click the answer button. I answer calls on all my devices and haven’t had that issue. Are you on a beta? I’m on 12.1.2 for iphone se, 12.1.1 for ipp 12.1 gen 1, 5.1.2 on s1 watch, and 10.14.1 on 2018 mac mini. My son also answers calls on his ipad air 2 and his iphone SE without issue.Agreed. And what I feel is a HUGE (software) issue: having them connected to both phone and iPad, listening to music on the phone, someone calls you and you have "answer calls on iPad" configured so both devices ring, you answer on the iphone and all you hear is silence, because the iPad has stolen the connection.
Haters gonna hate!So my question is, how are the AirPods any different from the wired EarPods when wearing those, except the AirPods are just missing the wire. I just don’t understand how they someone can say they look ‘so ridiculous’ , when they literally resemble the wired earpods.
