Video Mirroring question

Hope someone can help me with this,

I love the video mirroring of the iPad 2 with the special cable for it, but can I also mirror the iPad 2 display using AppleTV? I mean if I use the cable I´ll have to be near the HDTV and in a class full of kids I´d like to be moving around.

Thanks!

Not everyone buys an iPad to match their coat!

Video will look better with a black surround. The only real choice is what colour smart cover to get!

Black also looks more professional in certain work environments (law, business). I imagine that in a graphics or design shop white would be fine.

Actually, it would be nice to see an equivalent to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

The endowment of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation stands at $33.5B, it would be nice to see a rival from Apple.

Excellent. I second that. Be a bit philanthropic, Apple, pick your topic and go with it. 100 Mio will carry you a long way. How about cancer research, might be of personal interest to Jobs anyway (I am pretty egoistic here, he he...).

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation was set up by a private citizen, not a public corporation (i.e., Microsoft).

The request for Apple to set up a charitable arm does not equate with the Gates Foundation.

What Steve Jobs does with his personal assets is his decision. It's entirely up to him about what he donates to and if he prefers to keep his contributions anonymous. Note that if he publicized his charitable activities, he would probably have to fend off requests from many organizations. By remaining an anonymous donor, one can focus on specific interests. It's far easier to cut a few checks and say, "don't mention my name" than explaining to a hundred organizations why you're not donating them but someone else.

everyone who says that the ipad should have a retina display has never hold one.

I'm posting this comment from an iPad, which I wish had a retina display, because I don't like seeing individual pixels when I read something. What now?

Sad thing is.... This is probably true.

I don't know what "retina display" means and I have an iPad and an iPhone 4. I could care less, especially since it seems everyone has a different definition. Just know they both look great, have great apps, and my family likes to use them.

I say Apple hordes all of its cash and sends everyone in the world a free box of cookies once a year.
