iOS 8.0.2 iTunes Not Syncing Music and Movies

How about they release an update that fixes the problem where iTunes doesn't sync music and videos to 8.0.2 devices, specifically iPhone 6+?

Apple's slip into poor quality control and thus mediocrity is accelerating.

i thought 9to5 mac mentioned these updates where for 2015 and beyond? if so shouldnt 8.0.3 be next with airplay, etc?

I've got mixed feelings about Apple's latest iOS wave. The new Xcode is really good, much faster and more stable than Xcode 5. The simulator was especially improved; it's much faster now and doesn't keep refusing to work like the old one did. But iOS 8, on the other hand...

I'm willing to bet that iOS 8.3 will add the Workouts app that we can already see on the Apple Watch page for the iPhone 5 and later.

Well I'm glad they're testing it.. iOS 8 has been the worst iOS yet! It didn't have that many changes so I do not understand why so many bugs. When people pay premium price for a product we do expect quality in the product and the performance of the product.

It might not look like much has changed on the surface but it's one of the biggest iOS updates ever. You'll notice it more when you start seeing more widget options, keyboard options, more graphically intensive games, start paying for stuff with your iPhone, automate parts of your home with your iPhone, answering/making calls on your Mac or iPad and tracking your health with your iPhone. Those things and more are all made possible by iOS 8.

You won't see my upgrading to any version of iOS 8 until after Yosemite 10.10.2 is released. I'll let everyone else work out all the bugs we'll be seeing before then.

Because I could set my client OS Version to 8.4 and we would really have a story then.

It's just not that reliable as a "metric" as it can be arbitrarily set.

But MR has been using and showing their analytics for years quite successfully. Yes, someone could spoof their user agent, but I think MR is smart enough to wait for a significant number of hits at a realistic time before reporting about it. They might even do some IP based cross checking, Apple owns the 17.0.0.0/8 IP block.

So, it's not a science, but you can make very educated guesses.

Fix the $%!@ Bluetooth!

One of those fixes better be to fix the Bluetooth in 8.0.2.

I've got BT in my car and as as add-on devices, and sometimes iOS 8.0.2 sees the device and doesn't pair. Sometimes it sees a device it paired with before and doesn't connect.

Never seen an :apple: product this buggy at release.

It had a huge number of changes. Very few in the GUI, which is all you see at first look, but a heck of a lot in the underlying functions and code.

Better Xcode means faster, more efficient and powerful apps?

BT is fine for me on 8.0.2 in car playback

Yeah i'm usually not that skeptical when the story mentions just one version. Thats all.

And I am making the assumption that these are from Apple's address block, can't see why they would not run the report with that filter in place honestly.

Isn't the "OS version" easy to spoof on a web client?

yes, but macromurs and others check the IP address from the connection comes and so they can relatively be sure that it is coming form Apple

Will 8.1 or 8.2 make my iPhone 6 work?
Pics upside down
landscape works when it want to, mostly not
swipe in photos does not work.
FaceTime call shows person sideways
quick reply to text does not bring up keyboard, and if it does, keystrokes are being done behind the screen the device search screen.
and much much more:confused:
restore in iTunes errors with Error code 1 (hardware?)
Apple store has no replacement devices.

So, 8.1 perhaps is a workable version of 8.0.2?

Faulty hardware. Get replacement.

The WIFI issue is very annoying. They need a fix for that ASAP. Right now that's the only issue I have. The connection drops like every 5 to 10 minutes. And yes, I've done a restore but it didn't help. In fact 8.0.2 has made the WIFI worse.

8.0.1 fixed the wifi issues on all my devices. I can now use 5ghz again without it dropping. Still working with 8.0.2.

Did you restore a backup or setup as new? If it was a restore from backup I recomend resetting all settings to clear out any junk from previous versions. If you setup as new then I have no idea how your going to fix that..

Not necessarily, just that it's less frustrating to develop apps ;)

The new Xcode does also have Swift support. Swift could enable people to make better apps. It's got functional programming support and a lot of new features like optionals, and it should lead to more manageable code in some cases.

I restored from a backup.
