The problem is that all our soap boxes and printing presses have been digitized and are largely controlled by a few corporations. Not all Americans. Every American is taught what freedom of speech means but then become propagandized by the right to view it as literal freedom to say whatever you want without consequences. This is convenient because it justifies their ability to discriminate.

If the idea is that they allow 1A-level free speech on their platform, that directly conflicts with the App Store rules, so it wasn't feasible from the start. It had to just be a website if they wanted that. Last time I made an app that allowed posting, the reviewers had me put in the EULA that any posts violating Apple's content rules will be removed.
