Trump is immoral you are right.
Trump is childish and it’s not laughable it’s sad. But that’s what happens when you don’t get your way when you’re used to getting your way your entire life.

You want to know who else is immoral? Kamala Brown I mean Harris. Yeah that’s right Kamala had an affair with the mayor of San Francisco and it just so happened to advance her political career.

Ilhan Omar also had an affair. She wasn’t married but her fling was. I guess that would make her a home wrecker.

But guess what. I’m sure half of our politicians have or will. They’re all immoral. It just seems you like to bring it up when it’s good for you. Those are the types of facts I like. I’ll call Trump out when he needs to be called out but I’ll also call out others. You just seem to want to call one side out.
Morality is mostly subjective. But there are basic universal human morality of decency, integrity and compassion. And these are the more important depending on the person's role in society. By this definition and these measure, Trump falls very short and is unfit to be leader of the free world, compared to others of high moral standing. In fact he has proved this week to be very dangerous to the U.S. and the world. I'm sorry.

You need to watch the videos that are out there. Watch them. Really, really watch them. Because if you have, your eyes were not open. It is very easy to spot the literal domestic terrorists in the crowd. Many reports of people talking about killing politicians. A LITERAL NOOSE SET UP WITHIN FEET OF THE CAPITAL. Get. Freaking. REAL. Or don't -- I don't actually give a crap, because the world -- it is moving on, and we are going to make it better for everyone, no matter their skin color. Even white people. Because living in a sick racist world is good for NONE OF US.
NickyG I appreciate your zeal. But I think you really are hyper and overblown. All your language is inflammatory.

You have ascribed racial motives to others here which is just ugly. It makes it hard for you to discuss with others without coming across as aggressive and hateful and a little racist. Maybe I come off that way...but wow. You have called out people for their race and then assumed things about them. I don’t think that appropriate for these forums. Maybe cool your jets and come back when you calm down.

That is a lot of a misinformed information. Where do you get these ideas from?

A LOT of misinformed information? Are you saying the democrats aren’t a party that supports abortion on demand, in some states until the moment of birth?

That Hollywood elites have NOT abused the young actors/actresses that have spoken out about it, and about the knowledge of many that it was, indeed, happening?

That you can allow someone freedom to be a certain way without actually having to applaud their choices?

Which, exactly, of those things are misinformation?

For the fiftieth time, hate speech, calls for violence and racism is not protected or free speech. Especially for a private company, not bound by ther first amendment when it comes to their own services.
They are protected except in the case of specific calls to violence. Why do people keep saying they are not protected?

I was unaware the President was inciting violence at BLM.

What's with all of you conservatives being so fixated on the BLM riots? You seem to always play the "whataboutism" angle and not focus on the issue.

BLM - In response to systemic racism and killing of minorities from WHITE America and police
Capitol Riots - White America/Trump supporters were incited by the PRESIDENT and his CRONIES to storm the CAPITOL and try to OVERTHROW democracy

Don't you see that it is trump supporters that are the instigators for both of these? But no, continue to blame everything on antifa and bury your head in the sand and love trump for reasons unbeknownst to me.
I saw all those white Antifa and BLM members burning black owned businesses to the ground and looting stores and terrorizing the citizens in black neighborhoods while claiming America is "systemically racist".

“Nazi”
Nazism is a system of beliefs. Adherents of Nazism has no objection to be labeled as such. Those who are not adherents rightly object to the label. But those who act in accordance with the principles of Nazism but might not understand they are acting as such, could rightly object to the label, but it seems logical that they should bear some of the responsibility for attracting the label to themselves.

Which book? What does it say specifically?

And I still think the birther issue was totally stupid. But here is the jacket to one of his books. Clearly must be the an error. But errors like this mean some people will ask questions. But this is not an issue of any interest to anyone.

but if we really want to make it fun

You illustrate my point perfectly.

This is a very unhappy way to view your fellow Americans. Believe me, you will have more peace believing your neighbors are thoughtful and disagree instead of OMZ RACIsTs! That’s a... immature way to go through life. Not zen at all. Spiritually bankrupt. Full of hate. I actually pity people this wound up and think so poorly about their fellow citizens. It’s just...sad.

Maybe you are young. But polticss is long. In a fair democracy no side wins forever. There is back and forth. And we have so much more in common than not because politics is a small piece of life. I don’t like Trump. I don’t like Biden. But the election of neither was an existential crisis or victory because in the US the stakes are really not that high. Trump was a 1990s democrat and Biden is a 2000s democrat. Neither is the next king of the US trying to send people to gulags. That’s just not America
I get your point. But I think there's also plenty of people who are otherwise more directly affected by various political decisions which drive them feel that they have much more at stake. If you were LGBT (to use an example from a different post) living in a rural town just a decade ago, it's not unlikely to think that your neighbors don't exactly have closely aligned political ideologies. Even now they have to deal with the anxiety of wondering whether Obergefell will be overturned, regardless of whether it's truly unlikely. To some, that their "existential crisis".

In a political climate now where anxiety inducing issues such as those appear more common since everything's photographed or videotaped, it's not hard to imagine why many people's anxieties could be driven even higher. The US has just gone through four years of having a president who actually has suggested some pretty wild things that have broken norms going back different presidents in recent history. I'm not going to bother posting links again, but people aren't driving themselves to the current situation all on their own. People expect their elected officials to act in the best interests of their country, not to spread conspiracy theories, promote FUD, and encourage their own electorate to do the same.

Too bad right? well here is your chance to one up the darn liberals and take your ideals elsewhere if you don't like losing the election and trying to overthrow democracy in a way a 2 year old throws a tantrum

Of course I don’t like that we lost the election. I’d probably stomach it a little better if I felt comfortable that it was totally legit. Fraud is another way to overthrow democracy.

That being said, I have my big girl panties on so I’m keeping the tantrums to a minimum.

I’m not on social media much, so correct me if I’m wrong, but I think Facebook and Twitter at least try, whereas it seems Parler isn’t.

Im not sure about enforcement. I don’t have Twitter or Facebook but I see links posted to both platforms on many forums showing said events all the time.

‘They’ were nazis, just like Trump and his gangs of terrorists.
Wait until your mind is blown when you read about Stalin (Hint: he was not a Nazi, still killed as many people).
This has nothing to do with the colour of your political ideology this is about the fundamental bad idea of big tech censoring speech.
Once corporations start to use their state like influence on the speech of society, no good can come of it. That is actually one of the definitions of fascism is the involvement of the corporations in government.

That's the thing though. There is no fraud

No one claiming there is can provide any evidence.

Can't you understand that Trump thinks anytime he loses, it must be rigged? Comeon, don't tell me you fell for this con man and his antics.

But go ahead and believe what he says. He has the biggest smartest brain of them all! He can't be wrong and nothing is ever ever his fault./s

I wouldn’t have allowed Parler in the first place. It was made clearly to continue hate speech and conspiracy theories that would have been eventually banned elsewhere for stirring up trouble and death.

People don’t sign up to Parler or 8kun because they want a better world.

This isn’t a fReeDoM oF sPeeCH issue. It’s an abuse of speech issue.

I will stop supporting apple if they do this, freedom of speech is dying for anyone with conservatives views, trump didn’t tell people to go fight, also Kamala told the rioters at blm rallies to not stop and keep going and many died that’s a lot worse and they are fine
Freedom of speech ends when it results in harm to others. It’s the “yelling fire in a crowded theater” scenario. I fully respect the rights of conservative to share their views. In fact, our government is at its best when we have a strong two-party system. But the current Republican party is bankrupt on all fronts—morally, ethically, and socially. Conservative views are smaller government, lower taxes for higher income earners, restricted bodily autonomy for women, and so forth. But trying to steal an election to stay in power, inciting idiots to do his bidding by going to a federal building and committing a terrorist act in order to delay and suppress a fair and democratic process—all because his fragile ego can’t handle losing—none of this is acceptable, and it doesn’t count as free speech. It’s a crime. And no technology company should be expected to provide a forum for people to plan to commit crimes.

Yeah you know -- there's just no getting around a mob LED by organized neo nazis attacking our nation's capital and attempting to overthrow representative democracy, which was directly and blatantly egged-on by the literal head of the Republican party. And that is exactly how history will remember the dark events of Jan 6, 2021, when for a brief time, our Capital literally fell, elected officials of both parties lying on the floor huddled in a panic, frightened for their lives, whisked off to safe rooms. The GOP is a racist party with racist beliefs that has done BLATANTLY racist things at the behest of DJT over the past 4 years of his administration. No more Muslims can enter the country? The people on both sides of the white power neo nazi rally in charlottesville were very good people? Obama is not the legitimate President, he wasn't born in this country? Keep the bag over your head. If you are old, there's no knocking sense into you at this point methinks. We are going to move on and make this world a better place.

According to Section 230, Parler is not responsible for user generated content on their platform.

Unless this is Apple saying that Parler is responsible for the content, in order to be within the App Store. In which case, is Apple also responsible for the content I can find via Safari on iOS, as well?

Safari doesn’t host content. Parler hosts the content. Your analogy is so bad you should take a break from the internet for a while and rediscover yourself.

Well, that's it for me. Smell you later, jerkwads. I have two full days of football to watch tomorrow.

Those people have been suppressed and underrepresented so long, now the slingshot effect is happening. But I think you would be surprised to see how many people are gay, transgender, etc. It's a lot more than you think. ANd it is perfectly normal - for them, just as being a straight male is perfectly normal for me.
I get that it’s normal to them while not to me. What is normal anyway? That’s the hard part. You and I are straight males yet I’m sure we both have our own things that define normal. You are right they have been suppressed for so long but must suck to live that lifestyle. I can’t imagine being beaten up because of the sex I’m attracted to. I think where it rubs people wrong are things like pride parades etc. Is it really necessary to parade around dressed the way they dress and be so in your face about it. To me it’s tacky. I’d feel the same if it’s any other type or group of people too.

Take out Twitter and Facebook too. Garbage platforms with poisonous hatred being spewed constantly, regardless of political inclinations. Circular dialogue that contributes nothing to society and is partly responsible for the increased temperature in the States. Same goes for a lot of non-political discussion on them. Hollow, shallow, worthless. Maybe it will be a step towards teaching people to communicate properly again.
