By “responsible,” Apple clearly means personally responsible, not legally responsible. And your understanding of Section 230 is poor...it doesn’t say Parler (to use as an example) isn’t responsible, it says that Parler “shall not be treated as the publisher” of offending content and prohibits imposing publisher liability. They are still liable for criminal acts and could be civilly liable if a court finds that Parler contributed to the offending content.

What occurred in the capital earlier this week is just what it was: A blatant act of sedition accompanied by murder and violence, instigated by a politician who lost an election.

Also try to recall the 2000 election there was no such insurrection or protest by any of the left. And that legitimately had issues and even was reviewed by the Supreme Court.

I believe all these entities are simply trying to ensure that lies are not circulated as truth. If you wish to engage in fantasy then label it as such.

Strange, for the past 4 years the never Trumpers, “resistance”, Black Lives Matter, antifa, et al. Has been actually rioting, burning down cities, shooting people, etc. incited by the rabid “woke” establishment, the national security state, the new hateful “progressives”, but nobody bats an eye. If I remember correctly, the slogan they would chant as they flip over and set fire to police cars and loot local businesses was “this is what democracy looks like!”
