I DON'T NEED or WANT ANY SOCIAL NETWORK INTEGRATION.period
You don't. A lot of other people do. Don't use it? You can completely ignore it if you like. Readily possible.

I'll be happy to have greater Flickr integration, especially with their announcement of 1TB of storage for free users.

Apple dropping support for Google Maps and YouTube was the best thing to happen to those two apps. They're wayyyy better now.

What else can they drop support for?

Youtube, maybe, but Google Maps? Um, no.. there's quite a bit of problems that they need to fix before it becomes usable.

The biggest is that Google can't even be bothered to use proper contact book integration so if you're smart and don't store your contacts with Google, it's useless.

Has the hallmarks of yet another iOS disaster if you ask me.

Yeah, optional *minor* features of an OS upgrade is SUCH a disaster. >_>

Which is why Apple should not make that call in the first place. Just let iOS be a neutral OS as much as possible when it comes to third-party apps and integration. If Apple intends to cherry-pick only those services it likes while leaving the rest locked out, iOS is never going to be competitive anymore.

Don't know about you but I can use Dropbox perfectly fine on iOS

All I can say about this is: No Google+? If Google+ was integrated, it could gain users pretty quickly. I can see one reason why Apple wouldn't put in Google+ integration, given the Apple-Google relationship…

The last thing we need is another way for Google to steal your info....

Just fix the "Syncing Genius Data" bug already. Don't give a hoot about 'integrating' more outside services with the iOS.

Not a heavy user of either, but Vimeo is what YouTube would be if it had class.

Oh, and now that Flickr is owned by Yahoo!, I might give it a try.

Was it a joke, or do you believe Yahoo! just acquired Flickr?

Wow. I guess any idea people had of a some real innovation is completely shot. Hard coding social networks into iOS? Yay? How about allowing any social network app to support sharing. You know so apps like Evernote, etc can be shared too directly from any app. Android has had this for years. But Apple insists on striking deals with companies to hard code only the social networks and apps they want. I fail to see how hard coding Flickr as a social network inside of iOS is really benefiting the user.

Since there are rumors of Apple adding more useful services in their social networking integration, Apple must be planning on making this change, and this change alone, to iOS7. No chance whatsoever of other features being in the OS. Just this. Give up hope.

On theory it's already possible
I export from pages to dropbox all the time. The app you are exporting to has to support it

With Flickr and Vimeo integration, I can't see how iOS 7 won't be the biggest and best update ever!

(sarcasm)

Oops. Let me rephrase that:

"Because Flickr is owned by Yahoo!, I might give it a try. Instagram, no."

The last thing we need is another way for Google to steal your info....

If Google has their way, they'll be spying on us 24/7.
That's why they're giving away Google Fiber. To monitor all of our internet traffic.
So they can better target us with ads and profit from all that personal information.

96% of Google's revenue comes from ads. Do the math.

Yeah. And those of us who don't use the services don't need to see them on our devices.

THIS! I don't have an fb account, so it is a constant annoyance that any time I message or email a photo I have to see their logo & the "send to Facebook" option. I dig having these new services, just hope they show up as OPTIONS. Otherwise, it's gonna get awfully cluttery more sooner than later...

Just hope that this come in that final slide with the 200+ features instead in the top 10 ones

How is adding Vimeo support moving away from Google? Unless they make a stock Vimeo app... which would be stupid because nobody uses that lame site.

----------

God.. just because you guys don't have friends doesn't mean we all have to suffer..

Friends don't let friends use Vimeo, however :D
We all use and enjoy YouTube even though it has gone drastically downhill in the past year.
Also, Dropbox is way, way better than Flickr. I'd love for Apple to integrate Dropbox.

How about useful integration of, oh, you know...Dropbox...Evernote...

Hell, webOS has more native integration of services than iOS!

The framework is for Social service integration… not sure if dropbox and Evernote are in this category…

iOS already "supports" this kind of integration that you want, through the "open with", but needs the app developer to implement this…

Your life must be so hard.

If Dropbox already has "open with" on Android why not iOS.

I have the flicker app as of yesterday & integration is great on Android.
Why waste resources adding to core OS when many won't use it?

Only thing Vimeo has over YouTube is that it is not blocked in my school <.<

Your wise counsel has changed my mind.

vimeo, flicker & all yahoo services should be built into iOS.
Heck make Facebook the big feature 'one more thing'.

It's a perfect match for the average iOS user.

Give it I radio & TV integration.
That's been done this week too while Tim Cook was explaining why their headquarters is out of Ireland along with 3/4 of their cash.

Now that's innovation... /s

Fixed your tagging to avoid any confusion it might cause :).
