Cook will come on and give some insane number of apps downloaded which at this point is irrelevant. I mean do we care if it’s 1.8 or 2.5 billion?

He’ll then proclaim Photoshop for iOS as ‘amazing, amazing!’

Seriously it’s probably just a way to thank developers and keep them from jumping ship.

Damn, this is how you negative people must look at your desk...

Unless a product gets announced, I feel like this event will be boring. I hope I'm wrong. If Apple release new apps, that would be great. The numbers will be interesting.

It took me a while to figure out your post. I couldn't understand why you were talking about Norway. 🤪

Anyhow, it's always possible to have One More Thing, but I'm not counting on any hardware releases either, even though I'd love to see the new iPad Pros then.
The event is in New York City at 4pm. On Cyber Monday. That’s not a time or day Apple has ever announced hardware. And I don’t see many of the usual suspects tweeting about it so we don’t even know who all got invitations.

For all we know Cook might not even be there. It might just be Schiller and developer relations.

You know that really boring part of the keynotes where they show off affinity blade or AR minecraft? It's going to be like that but for 2 hours... two long hours...

It's happening ! 16-inch macbook pro announcement !!!
Perhaps they will introduce it with micro SD card, VGA, HDMI, floppy disk drive, removable battery and DVD burner. Then all the Macrumors readers will be happy. LOL

Introducing the Apple AR Glasses...for better gaming experiences of all those AR apps.

Final cut for iPad would be awesome.

I think making an event just to talk about App Store would be really weird. I don't think they will launch some new hardware, but there have to be some new software from Apple (like that Final Cut for iPad that people are talking about in this thread).

That invite looks fake. The bottom font is wrong. It's Segoe (Microsoft's font). Top font is San Francisco. Apple would never use Segoe.

The iPad does not remotely have the necessary compute power to make that fly in any meaningful way.

If they show off Xcode on an iPad, THAT would be a game changer -- because then the iPad would finally become a self-hosting platform. And Apple could stop developing and selling Macs altogether.

You cannot embed custom fonts to emails, so if that text is not a part of an image, it's rendered using the default system font. So if you recieve it on Windows, it will use Segoe.

I’m in the market for an Apple TV and iPad. Here is hoping for some new hardware before the end of the year.

I hope they do this so that we can see what happens if Apple stopped selling Macs / MacBooks. It sounds like a wonderful idea for those that live in a closet.
