There's not much information on battery health in the beta either.
On mine it shows Maximum capacity: 99% and Peak Performance Capability.
This is something you can get with many apps.
Some of you need to get out of your bubbles ... it's as if you think (aside from the two coasts) nothing else happens in this country from a tech and innovation perspective. Chicago gets a bad rap in the media due to gang violence, which is a little comical given 90%+ of it is isolated to a few bad hoods on the south and west sides (miles away from the city center). There's nothing "odd" or "curious" about this event being hosted in Chicago ... a global, world class city that just so happens to be one of the fastest growing tech incubators in the nation.
I think Apple would disagree with you, based off the iPad Pro ad with the little girl we all know and loveI don’t think so. This is in line with what people have been speculating all along, the launch of a new budget iPad. They’re not going to be marketing iPad Pros at the education sector.
Article that has nothing to do with Jobs or multitouch? Check.
Someone trying to bring it up to find something to whine about? Check.
I think Apple would disagree with you, based off the iPad Pro ad with the little girl we all know and loveAlso for high schoolers and or even certain college students the iPad Pro has become a truly great laptop replacement.
Well I was right about the date but the venue and education focus has me stumped about whether we'll still get anything outside of that like expensive AirPower mats and an iPhone SE 2. Guess it depends on whether or not the whole thing is focused on education or if they split it into two parts or something. Maybe they could start out with the usual fanfare and then dive into education. Working in higher ed where our funds are being cut every single year now, I'd love to see some lower Mac prices for students, faculty and staff. Education is the biggest thing that will make America great again and Apple has the ability to help improve that.
how about iBook renamed to Apple Book (as leaked) and Apple releases the clamshell laptop running iOS called ... iBookiBooks revamp and relaunch.
I was going to say you were correct on the date you predicted last week. However, I think there might be an iPad update, but the SE seems unfitting for a Keynote like this. I think others are to way focused thinking this will be a major hardware Keynote and I don’t believe it will be, as Apple will keep the focus more to the education sector, maybe with some hardware.
I think a low cost iPad and maybe the rumoured cheaper MacBook Air, it fits better as the Air is popular with, students. I don’t think we will see the iPad Pro’s or MacBook Pro’s at this event. As I’ve said in a previous post, a leaker Ben Geskin not long tweeted “MacBook Air (13’) coming”
I would say, that the Mac Book Air will be changing to something like iOS Book Air.
A small retina touch Display Book with iOS on it.
Why would they announce the Mac Pro in a high school? It's much more likely to be announced at WWDC.Please mac pro...please
Lovely. Another opportunity for Cook to foist off iPads on people rather than what they actually want....
You're right. The numbers speak for themself. Chromebooks are eating iPads in education left and right and rather than admit that what education wants aren't expensive iPads Cook and co are going to double-down on their mistake.I don’t think you can speak for what everyone wants. A lower priced iPad with decent specs is actually the only Apple product I can see myself buying in 2018.
