“It’s the most expensive iPad ever, and we think you’re going to buy it!”
Along with my "ancient" 2018 iPad Pro 11" (A12X), still kicking fanny. My M4 iPad Pro will still be going strong.
That has never been the case. Please don’t spread lies.Whos buying these? Doesnt the OS only let you use one app at a time or else they keep reloading and losing all your progress?
I also decided against an iPad Pro purchase I planned to make. Just too expensive for what you get.Too bad it’s probably going to cost $1,199. I was thinking of replacing my 2021 11” Pro within the next year, but not anymore at these current prices…
I am starting to agree. If I am not on my Macbook, I open my Find N6 and use a small tablet. My iPad sits next to me unused most of the time.Other than the amazing screens, I really don't understand this product existing at all these days.
Yep. I’ll have no interest in upgrading. I’m hoping to get to iPadOS 30 with the M4.My M4 iPad Pro will still be going strong.
While I liked this comment, I much prefer to do my daily work in my iPad over a MacBook. As a school administrator who is constantly on the move I just prefer the touch interface and the 1000 nits. I know my work isn’t the same as others and people may prefer a “proper” OS but I’m a fan of my setup.I am starting to agree. If I am not on my Macbook, I open my Find N6 and use a small tablet. My iPad sits next to me unused most of the time.
But thats exactly what it is, an amazing screen thats the biggest USP of a tablet imo. Anyway it’s so satisfying to use though thats the main thing, the best in the industry in fact.Other than the amazing screens, I really don't understand this product existing at all these days.
Yeah then so what? Let them complain. I can’t even max out my Endfield graphic setting without dropping frames or introducing stutter on my M1 iPad Pro. More performance is always welcome. Then we'd have even more people complaining we have a MacBook Pro chip running iPadOS because the divide between that and the A18 Pro running macOS would be greater
Maybe they can just justify another price increase again, say of about $500?If Apple wait until 2027, they might go M7 or they could go M6 if supply is more available. TSMC has sold all of their 2026 N2 "2nm" fab capacity and are said to be almost sold-out for 2027. With Apple also needing N2 for the A20 and A20 Pro, they might have to juggle supply of all three SoCs for a time.
