Was last year's stream their first attempt? I don't remember. What a shambles that was. I wonder what will happen on the 9th. I just can't imagine they can get the infrastructure in place for a one-off event. It took Twitch years to be able to reliably stream big events to hundreds of thousands.

They've streamed off and on for several years now. Except for the Chinese gaff two Keynotes ago I've had no issues watching from my cable internet (cellar is a bit sketchy)

So according to this
Live streaming video requires Safari 5.1.10 or later on OS X v10.6.8 or later; Safari on iOS 6.0 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.
I can't stream on a Windows PC? :(
