Of course, the day AFTER my spring break when I have 8 hours of classes...

Aw well, I'll guess I'll have "movie night" when I get home. :(

Considering the larger venue and live stream if this is solely a Watch event there has to be more too it than here's pricing and when it's available for sale.

Sure. 10 min of how iPhone 6/+ continues to break iPhone sales records. 10 min to show and release a new MBA and maybe new Photos app. 20 to rehash everything we already know about the Apple Watch. Additional 10 minutes to tell us things we didn't know. 30 minutes to bring out various developers to show off their apps. 5 min to show off long version of new ad for Apple Watch. 10 minutes to announce price of all the various configurations and launch date. Thank you and cue U2.

Seriously -- yes I can see this being mostly about the Apple Watch. Any other hardware updates we see will be minor "yawn" bumps. Apple doesn't want to upstage the watch.

The link to 'add to calendar' is for September 9th.... I'm already worried about this live stream...

*Edit* They seemed to have fixed this...

I want a retina MacBook Pro with 970M graphics card! If that would happen, I would never need a PC or windows laptop again - life complete.

Besides more info on the specs, materials, and pricing of the Watch and bands, I think they'll spend a bunch of time on the faces and other software:
  • Faces - Apple is pitching the idea that the software is indistinguishable from the watch. Faces is the best embodiment of that and I think Apple will spend a bunch of time showing off the incredible faces they have made.
Some might mistake these for eye-candy, but I think Apple sees these as absolutely critical in terms of people accepting the Apple watch as something they actually want to wear. The faces are going to be a big part of what makes the Apple Watch something that people will find beautiful.
  • Apple Software - We have been given some idea on what the watch will do, but don't really know much about the software. Apple is going to show it all to us.
  • Remember the rumor about Apple helping 3rd-party developers to finish apps at the Apple campus? The best of those apps are going to be shown as well.

I think they might also introduce some new band options.

I agree. I don't even want an apple watch, but the only reason I would ever think about getting one is changeable faces (for different outfits/events) and text message/phone notification, allowing me to leave my phone on silent at all times

I'm the only one that is not excited about the Applewatch?

no, i'm only watching for the new Macbook, I'm really excited to see it even though i might hold off until they release a bigger version than 12 inch.

Well.. it wouldn't be much of an event if they only showed the watch now would it ...:D

They've already released a bigger version, lol.
