Only streaming to Apple devices. Big negative.

The press will give them credit for live streaming but will not report that a minority of people will be able to see it.

Thumbs down :apple:
Thumbs down.

PS. I'll watch it on TWIT.

Apple Store goes down ahead of iPhone/iWatch event.

I don't see the Apple Events icon on my Apple TV — I'm in Italy.

Is this supposed to be available just on US Apple TVs?

When Apple used this magnified section of their logo for the first time (2012 iPad mini event) they rightfully got a ton of comments like "digestion disaster after mexican bean stew". Seeing this years invitation I ask myself: Is the suppository going in or coming out?
Very poor design choice in my opinion.

Apropos a$$holes: What’s with your nick? Are you a fan of this guy?

funny u asked. read my signatur that i updated earlier today xD

Very excited. This will be the first announcement of Apple's I've ever watched live.

I really hope, if they are revealing the iWatch today, that he pulls a '..and one more thing :apple:."

I think they probably retired this when Jobs died, and probably rightfully so. It was his thing, and I would feel strange if Cook tried to emulate him.

If they were still doing one-more-things, then they could have done it with the iPad Mini.

For those looking for post-broadcast viewing, don't forget Apple's YouTube channel.
Here's WDC14, for example: WDC14 On Apple's YouTube Channel
They put it up just hours after it was over!

And using a iOSX YouTube downloader app, you can get a copy of it that way.
That's in SD.

Or, as mentioned above, the iOS PODCAST app/OSX.iTUNES.PODCAST tab.
That's in SD/720p/HD.

I don't get this. Someone who doesn't own any Apple device is still interested enough to watch the keynote live? I mean, the keynote will be online just a couple of hours after the event. Still, people who don't own Apple devices are excited enough about it that they can't wait these two hours and can't read the many live blogs or the summaries on tech websites and in the mainstream press?

http://applian.com/ - great software for recording web video- windows only though. I use Snapz Pro X on the mac.

Or, just wait until tomorrow and download the keynote from the iTunes store - under Apple special events.

Thanks, I'd wait until tomorrow but working in IT all the geeks in the office will be like Randy in south park when he finds porn ;)

… but a StarTrek like communicator with Siri interface!

You nailed it! Talk (phone), Maps, iPod, iMessage, Mail, Memo, Short Infos (Weather, Stock...) can be accessed via voice. No need to get your phone out of the pocket. Apple will reinvent the headset in a fashionable way. Probably it will be a beats product to promote it as sophisticate audio technology. The Display will also show audio visualization in selectable modes and colors. Free Hands. Free Speech. (HD Voice over LTE to underline the quality approach)
Something like that...
...with earbuds like those from earin: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1629248706/earin-the-worlds-smallest-wireless-earbuds

Apple has Apple events podcast via iTunes All the past ones

Apple Keynotes link

How can people dare say "I don't want to watch this keynote, we already know everything", I wish I could tell them there's something we don't know but sadly, I can't prove it because I don't know it!

Restart it. ( io ho dovuto fare il restart manualmente, al secondo tentativo mi ha aggiornato l'ATV)
