Apple to Release AirPods With New Coating and Black Color in the Spring

I would take black simply because my existing AirPods case has been stained by various dyes from the pockets it's been in.

The space grey accessories look cool. I’m completely over white anything from Apple. I know it’s their signature but I think it’s time they moved on; or at least offered a darker option for everything, even cables and dongles!

Hopefully there'll be Black options available + sweat-resistance for when I'm working out/running. I am on my third pair of AirPods (since 2016) because of this, but damn are they are a necessity at the gym.

Really? I used to sweat through regular ear buds in no time. I sweated through two pair of "Guaranteed Sweat Proof" Jaybirds and ended up getting my money back.

But my AirPods are >25 months old and still going strong. I exercise in them almost every day (mostly running). There's so much glue in them that they are all but (unofficially) waterproof.

With tips you can get different sizes to fit different ears.

That may be true, but when you're inside the ecosystem (iPhone,mac,watch) AirPods work seamlessly

That’s what the rumor is based on, clearly there could potentially be more features/capabilities than when what was discussed. That said, what else are you expecting? I think the first Gen AirPods were executes so well, second Gen AirPods really Don’t need major improvements, water resistance would be a nice add-on.

It’s really difficult to take your opinion seriously, especially when you’re referring to the AirPods as you do. Let me tell you, I’m in the gym five days a week, I live in a fairly large city, and I see the AirPods _all_ the time in public, and they don’t look anything like you’re describing them as, and I think generally, consumers don’t care what some Else chooses to wear for earbuds.

Douchey is actually more PC than the other word often used to describe them. This is just some random video that came up when I was searching YouTube for range comparisons. If it had the best audio quality, battery life, features, comfort and range I would overlook the douchiness though.
