Apple to Require COVID Testing for Employees Starting Next Month, Still No Vaccine Mandate

Time to stop, take a step back, take a deep breath and stop listening to the talking heads on TV, news feeds, social media, radio, internet and look at things rationally. Unvaccinated people are not experiencing a massive die-out while the fully vaccinated are not dying or getting sick. It is clear that the vaccine is not the all powerful shield that it has been marketed to be. It looks like it may be 60% effective in perhaps reducing who knows what.
The overall mortality rate of COVID in developed countries seems to be estimated at less than 1 percent overall.
That number is arrived by a lot of assumptions. The actual mortality rate is the total number of deaths caused by covid divided by the total number of people who have been INFECTED and DIAGNOSED with covid. The numerator in the formula is most likely inflated because many that have been tallied have been presumed covid related, others have been people who died of something unrelated to covid, but were covid PCR test positive (despite fact that the virus may not have attributed to the death).
The enormous elephant in the room that no one really has addressed is the denominator of the equation. Contrary to what we have been led to believe for the past 20 months, many people who contract COVID have immune systems that efficiently deal with the virus with either minimal or no symptoms, so the actual number of people who have had COVID actually are much, much higher than the data shows since many asymptomatic patients do not seek testing on a routine basis. Once the virus is dealt with, these asymptomatic patients will have natural immunity but will test negative for COVID. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a consistent antibody response to covid immunity--it probably is mediated by the T-cell lymphocytes which do not produce antibodies--the B-cell lymphocytes which do produce antibodies probably play a minimal role in corona virus elimination.
Bottom line is that the number used for calculating the mortality (and morbidity) rate is probably greatly inflated, while the denominator is most likely smaller than reality. The combination of both of those factors is that the mortality rates and morbidity rates is reported to be higher than the actual number.
Also, whoever said that seasonal flu does not impact hospitals and the health care system in the US clearly has never spoken to hospital/clinical staff during the flu season. One used to be able to look at the CDC website and see the mortality rates of flu in the US. Unfortunately they have redesigned their website making the charts and tables not readily accessible.

It is not clear at all.
Sure #people died who have covid/# people who had covid.
Also, there are assumptions that people who have covid and lived, have recovered fully to 100% of their pre-covid health. And that is not the case in every situation. It ignores who has been hospitalized, intubated, have organ damage, blood clots etc.
I can agree that not all who have covid have been counted in the statistics.

Seasonal flu doesn't usually result in some of the after effects seen in covid.
All fine and dandy, but in the U.S., 680,000 died of Covid-19. deaths by flu in 2018-2019 34,000. I think your overestimated deaths are probably underestimated instead. (People that were reported to have died from other causes when Covid-19 was probably the trigger, especially early in the pandemic.)

My immunity is stronger than yours. Why exactly do I need a vaccination? Putting aside the fact that it is my inalienable right to refuse a vaccine, tell me why, since I already have stronger than vaxxed immunity, I should be compelled to take 2 (now 3) doses of a arguably ineffective vaccine. You can't do it.
Here's the thing anyway, I can always take the vaccine in future if it truly became necessary (it won't) but you literally cannot take it back out of your body. You're relying on billion dollar (trillion dollar?) pharmaceutical companies being honest about the product they have rushed to market to capitalize on a pandemic to make shedloads of money.
You're relying on companies who have, even just recently, been found guilty of a litany of shady practices and have been fined billions by watchdogs for malpractice, false advertising, bribery etc..

For reference here is my original question...can you answer it? As opposed to a bunch of anecdotal stories, which is 20/350M = .0000057% by total vaccinations in the US.
