Now I know you’re trolling.

Embarrassing.

Thank you. That article is interesting, albeit somewhat inconclusive. Your statement implied there was intent which is why I took issue.

You fanatically and stridently reply to comments here as if you’re some big Covid expert, but you didn’t know doctors had massively reduced the usage of ventilators over a year ago?

Embarrassing.

you might want to take a look at where that article comes from. HealthDay Reporter is neither journalism nor science but produces on demand content to, in their words, "stimulate traffic and social sharing." ie: clickbait

Point out where I claim to be an expert? I’m certainly not which is why I trust those that are. You seem to be the one dismissing experts. And of course there are less people on ventilators in ICU now as we have the vaccines. That was kinda the whole point.

Embarassing indeed.

Please post some articles that say ventilator usage remains the same or higher than in March/April/May 2020. Thanks.

Nobody was talking about the number of people on ventilators. That wasn’t the point at all, let alone “the entire point.” Don’t embarrass yourself further.

Truly pathetic.

I never made any such claim so not sure why you're asking that. I'm merely suggesting you pay closer attention to where you get information from, might help dig you out of your fantasy

WebMD is a source of clickbait misinformation? That’s your argument?

You basically claimed the information was inaccurate clickbait. Are you retracting that claim?

in this case yes, webmd is publishing an article from healthday news whose business model is explicitly to produce click bait

Then I must demand you produce citations to support your claim that the article I posted was inaccurate, or else, as the other guy said, it will have to be reported to the moderators. Thanks for your cooperation.

and the cycle continues.

we’ve been through all this countless times in this and the other threads going back to the old forums. i’m not going back through hundreds of posts now.

it’s the same few people here all the time. i don’t need to go back through hundreds of posts and do the work all over again

When I refer to citations earlier in the thread, you people insist I repost them on demand. But now we’re just supposed to take your word for it when you post a personal attack? That’s not how it works.

Edit: I see you’ve edited or deleted a bunch of your comments. Concession accepted.

Please post examples or I’ll be forced to report this to moderation. Thanks.

Also, if you’re not conceding that the WebMD article wasn’t inaccurate clickbait, I’m going to need supporting citations or else the moderators will need to be summoned. Them’s the rules, as you guys like to remind people. Last chance.

turns out it was the previous thread, you were posting an article from epoch times

I'm not conceding anything. I stand by the statement that "HealthDay Reporter (where the webmd article came from) is neither journalism nor science but produces on demand content to, in their words, "stimulate traffic and social sharing." ie: clickbait"

please summon the moderators already

Are you claiming the WebMD article was wrong and that doctors are putting Covid patients on ventilators at the same rate as in March-May 2020? If so, we will need citations for that claim.

i never claimed that

it would certainly make sense that less patients are going on ventilators since more people are vaccinated now so they aren’t getting as sick

Of course you did. Definitionally, “clickbait” is sensationalistic and/or inaccurate, and you said the source I posted was clickbait. Not sure what type of dumb game you’re trying to play, but it’s a waste of everyone’s time.

Once again, the raw number of people on ventilators was never the topic. This has been explained multiple times now. You’re either trolling or deliberately being dishonest.

i’m not being dishonest, you’re the one taking about how many people are on ventilators. if it’s not the topic then why did you bring it up?

Absolutely false. The raw number of people on ventilators was not the topic of the WebMD article which you claimed was ”clickbait.”

This has been an absolutely ridiculous waste of time.

then why are you asking me this:
