So many these days don't give a flying **** about anything that doesn't affect them personally. Vaccinations are necessary not only to protect the person getting the shot but also everyone they come into contact with - if you get sick, you are capable of getting others sick. No vaccination is 100% effective. You still have a small chance of getting sick if exposed to someone who is sick. Having others vaccinated against covid, or polio, means there will be less of that virus going around - less opportunity to get infected.

If you are vaccinated and come into contact with the virus, you probably won't get sick (that's the vaccine working). If, however, you are vaccinated and don't come into contact with the virus, because everyone you run into is also vaccinated, then you have zero chance of getting sick, instead of a very small chance. This is how herd immunity works.

People who say, "well, I'm healthy, I don't need the covid vaccine, my immune system will protect me", are basically saying, "**** everyone else, I think I'll be fine". That's a ****** way to interact with society. Oh, and there are a lot of people on ventilators, clogging up ICUs around the country right now, dying of covid, who said precisely that, "I'm healthy, I don't need the vaccine." And a lot of them likely infected other people along the way, simply because they don't care about anyone else, only about themselves.

(And to "my immune system will protect me": the vaccine is basically giving your immune system a dossier, saying, "hey, watch out for this bad guy, start building up your defenses now". Putting your faith in your immune system and then going out of your way to not help your immune system prepare, makes no sense.)
Again you are using manipulation and making everything “little people’s” responsibility.

For example, everybody understands that printing money is not good, at the same time if you stop printing money, the level of people’s life will drop below the ground.
Who will take responsibility for this system? Will the “big people” ever be responsible? Or you can write it off on Covid and people who choose not to get vaccinated?

I'm constantly amused at healthcare workers who don't want to be vaccinated. When I started at a hospital, they checked my vaccination status and required more. I wasn't clinical but there was a chance that vaccines would be needed. I wanted the job, and I did what was necessary.

Yeah, I’m sure the people who saw Covid up close for 20 months are incapable of making their own assessments. They need the experts at MacRumors to decide for them.

No, it hasn’t. You guys post a lot of unscientific gibberish.
if by unscientific gibberish you mean the generally accepted global scientific and public health consensus then sure

does the possibility never cross your mind that perhaps the reason your views on this are not shared by the vast majority of scientists, doctors and public health officials is because you have it wrong?

It was “generally accepted” that the flu was a bigger concern than Covid in February 2020.

It was “generally accepted” that masks were useless against airborne viruses in March 2020.

It was “generally accepted” that ventilators were critical to saving Covid patients from March to July 2020.

It was “generally accepted” that boosters wouldn’t be needed for almost all of 2021.

All you ever do is regurgitate garbage from garbage “experts.” Waste of time.

HCFA, their hospital, the CDC, and the FDA have enough information for them.

The same ”experts” who told us to worry more about the flu than Covid? The same ”experts” who killed countless patients with ventilators?

Sure thing.

Some of you people are way too impressed with dummies with dopey credentials.

“We’ve all been fooled” apparently according to the anti-vaxxers and flat earthers. Everything is a lie and the big bad gubment is out to get ya. Can this be a TV show please? 😂

This is little more than childish foot-stomping. If I’m wrong about anything in post #605 or #607, then refute it. Otherwise, spare us the “trust the experts” garbage. These idiots have been wrong about just about everything.

Remember the dreaded “surface spread”? What happened to that? Never hear about “surface spread” anymore. Weird.

What are you on about with "little people"? It is EVERYONE'S responsibility to get vaccinated. The only people who should not get vaccinated are: those for whom the vaccine is not yet available (children under a certain age); and, those with legit medical reasons (and to be clear, this means those immunocompromised individuals where best generally accepted medical consensus is that they should not get vaccinated, and not someone who got their chiropractor to write them a note because they don't feel like getting vaccinated).

You seem to be talking about government when you say, "big people", since they're the only ones allowed to print money. Biden is stepping up, with things exactly like the mandate that federal employees be vaccinated. He inherited such a ****-show from the former president. He's trying to get us out of the ditch that the former guy drove us into.

If we had had a president in place, at the time all this started, who could actually lead, and who followed the advice of the best epidemiologists the country has, we would have been out of this mess already, with a few hundred thousand less deaths (and it always amazes me how the same people who insisted on spending millions of taxpayer dollars launching multiple fruitless investigations into 4 dead Americans in Benghazi simply shrug their shoulders at more than half a million dead Americans from covid). Instead, he chose to politicize it, to drum up this idea that not wearing masks and not social distancing is about, "muh personal freedums!", to make people fearful and untrusting of information from medical professionals. He used it intentionally to stir up anxiety amongst his followers. And that led to a groundswell of people not trusting the vaccines, and got us to where we are today, where more than 90% of the people clogging up ICUs right now are unvaccinated covid patients.

“Childish foot stomping” says the one who’s afraid to get a needle.

The people that died on ventilators were murdered? Source please.

More foot-stomping and unresponsive nonsense. “Afraid of a needle”? I’ve repeatedly listed the long list of vaccinations I’ve had. I’m also a longtime blood donor.

Sorry, afraid of THIS needle. You vaccinate against everything else BUT covid. Makes even less sense. You trusted science then but not now. Interesting.

And please source your claim that thousands of people on ventilators were killed/murdered. I can’t wait to see your source of info on that.

“Afraid of this needle”? I already had Covid. Why the hell would I go get three jabs? Do you ever think before you post?

I never said “murdered.” Stop lying.

Do you not read half of the nonsense you post? Source your claim.

Source what? The hospitals and morgues aren’t full of people who have (or had) Covid for the second or third time.

If you’re talking about ventilators, anyone with half of a clue knows that ventilator usage is way down from March-June 2020.

You claimed they were killed. Source your claim.

Good grief. The “experts” didn’t drastically reduce ventilator usage because the ventilators were helping so much.

Your posts barely qualify as trolling. Embarrassing.

So what exactly Biden is doing in order to stop printing money? Mandating vaccines? Lol. Or maybe he realised that failed state is the only way out of this mess? If this is the case than everything makes perfect sense.

Anyone with half a clue would acknowledge that ventilator use is down because we have a vaccine now.

I ask one more time to source your claim that they were killed. Read the forum rules. Next one goes to moderation.

Ventilator use of of course down a we now have a vaccine that is keeping people out of the ICUs.

this seems like a fascinating story you've cooked up. lets hear some more of it

so mandating vaccines has something to do with monetary policy? which mess is a failed state the only way out of?

maybe you're forgetting what forum you are on as you seem to think we all know the background of this particular fantasy. I'd love to hear more about it though. are the moon nazis underneath Antarctica involved?
