I thought the calculator that is now in X has a graphing calculator that you can access by showing the package contents and moving a few files around. Is this one going to be a lot better?

When is OS X going to start using other terms from other languages besides french?

Bonjour sounds friendly enough, and it does mean connecting with devices saying hello. Rendevous sounds awesome too, buts its a lot better than OpenTalk.

Uh, HELLO? What does that have to do with networking? Rendezvous at least made sense in it's use. But HELLO? Come on Apple, you're just getting goofy now.

Actually if you read about what Rendezvous actually does, Bonjour is a much more appropriate name. The protocol only sets up a meeting, it's not a meeting itself. It's more of a greeting, hence, Bonjour.

But I agree, it doesn't roll off the tongue very well. However, it is an appropriate name.

Rendezvous vs. Bonjour seems like a no brainer to me. Maybe my memory is failing but wasn't there some sort of copywrong thing going on over the TM Rendezvous??? This could be the fallout of that. Still gah! Anything is better then Bonjour. Couldn’t they have called it "super-mega-compatibility-tech" Sure would sound a lot better. :p

Hilarious!

The name Bonjour really made me laugh.

If Apple is now in to foreign names they might like to consider some dutch names.

I would like: "Toedeloe" or "Toedeledokie" ;)

Or Italian: "Arrivederci"

Or German: "Auf Wiedersehen"

:D :D
