Still fore paring for shipment! I ordered the 64GB at around 7:30 AM pacific time and fast shipping. It seems like people near LA haven't changed to shipped yet like me.

I ordered a 64gb at 7:00 am. I'm also in the LA area and haven't recieved any shipping info. Last few things I've recieved from Apple have come OnTrac and they are horrible out by me.
Edit: I also payed for the next day.

Just got a UPS email update that my delivery for today via UPS has changed because "we've left the package at our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay."
Anyone else experiencing this?
No but it sounds about as lucky as me. Mine shipped and I had a tracking from FedEx but not apple yet then the shipment was canceled halfway by apple and now it is back to Preparing for Shipment.... The tracking showed it was shipped by Apple and canceled in TN.

Yes mine just updated to show the same thing. UPS really is a waste of space when it comes to overnight deliveries. They drop the ball on my Amazon packages fairly frequently

Apple says they'll refund the shipping if it really doesn't arrive today. Apparently they can't just go kick somebody over at UPS to get it delivered.

Mine is being delivered Monday so I just ordered one to pickup in the store this morning. If I really like like it I will keep both if not I will return one next week.

Just got back from the Apple Store. Nice to live in a big city. :p

I too went to my local store this morning after my Monday pre-order has been stuck in "preparing for shipment" for 4 days. I was able to get a 64GB and the steel series controller. They were flying out the door, but I understand that have hundreds, if not more in most Apple stores.
 
off-topic, why is nobody using Parcel as Tracker app? Gives accurate information and keeps you posted.

I also had the same problem in Belgium, I ordered before my friend and he received his AppleTV, I'll receive mine on monday.

not much we can do about that.

I guess they are shipping them in phases alphabetically

Thxs UPS... Wtf. 'We've left the package in our facility.' So officially there went the other shoe... what a waste of $17. Are they going to reimburse my $17!? Nope... Paid the stupid tax and lost, might as well have bought 17 $1 scratchers, my luck would have been the same.

did you contact apple directly or is this a blanket thing they are doing for all of us that got F-ed in the A?

I had the same issue and I just called Apple and they refunded the $17 so give them a call.

if they refund me ill just go into the apple store tonight/tomorrow and grab one in downtown Portland... but what a cluster f- this has been this time. Apple really dropped the ball.
 
Was it not a pre-order?
Mine was ordered as soon as they became available- I didn't talk to someone on the app, i called.

here is exactly what I said:

I paid$17 for my order (said order number)
it was shipped yesterday and it was "next day air" that i paid for.
As you can see from the status, it was left in their facility, so it will not be arriving today as promised from a next day air shipment.

The rep agreed and said my credit card would be refunded immediately the $17.

Call- 800-692-7753 and say exactly what i said and i would assume you will get the same response, i don't think anything has to do with pre-order or not, it is the principle of next day air. I paid for next day air, and today is the next day.

Same here!! Especially when I forked out the $17
That's what I was complaining about. All I got was "You'll be one of the first to get a new Apple TV between the 30th and the 3rd!" I ordered next day and I can't cancel because it's ready to ship. I have an Apple Store down the street that has them in stock.

Mine has never said shipped. It hasn't been left at the carrier. Its still preparing for shipping.
