Still fore paring for shipment! I ordered the 64GB at around 7:30 AM pacific time and fast shipping. It seems like people near LA haven't changed to shipped yet like me.
No but it sounds about as lucky as me. Mine shipped and I had a tracking from FedEx but not apple yet then the shipment was canceled halfway by apple and now it is back to Preparing for Shipment.... The tracking showed it was shipped by Apple and canceled in TN.Just got a UPS email update that my delivery for today via UPS has changed because "we've left the package at our facility. This may cause at least one business day delay."

Mine is being delivered Monday so I just ordered one to pickup in the store this morning. If I really like like it I will keep both if not I will return one next week.

did you contact apple directly or is this a blanket thing they are doing for all of us that got F-ed in the A?Yes mine just updated to show the same thing. UPS really is a waste of space when it comes to overnight deliveries. They drop the ball on my Amazon packages fairly frequently
Apple says they'll refund the shipping if it really doesn't arrive today. Apparently they can't just go kick somebody over at UPS to get it delivered.

Except my order shipped yesterday. It's not even pre-12 delivery, it's just a regular UPS Ground by end of day shipment.Surely if you pay the extra it's for pre-12 delivery, not que jumping on orders........
That's what I was complaining about. All I got was "You'll be one of the first to get a new Apple TV between the 30th and the 3rd!" I ordered next day and I can't cancel because it's ready to ship. I have an Apple Store down the street that has them in stock.Same here!! Especially when I forked out the $17

I also love how I selected "You've chosen to receive order status notifications." and have never received a single one.Same here!! Especially when I forked out the $17
I paid $17 for my order as well, i called them and this is what i said
Gave them my order number
it was shipped yesterday and it was "next day air" that i paid for.
As you can see from the status, it was left in their facility, so it will not be arriving today as promised from a next day air shipment.
The rep agreed and said my credit card would be refunded immediately the $17.
Call- 800-692-7753 and say exactly what i said and i would assume you will get the same response, i don't think anything has to do with pre-order or not, it is the principle of next day air. I paid for next day air, and today is the next day.
