Yup, there have been controllers out for some time now, but the new Apple TV really prompted me to get one. For your iPhone or iPad though, it wont work with all games, just the ones with controller support. Apparently the nimbus has a companion app that lists games that have controller support.

I don't think that app is live yet. But there are sites that show Mfi compatibility for iOS games.
 
Originally ordered through Apple, saw that Best Buy was offering it for pre-order and since I'm an employee its 60$ cheaper. Cancelled my apple order and placed it through Best Buy. Will have it a week from tommorow.

Did anyone notice best buy lists the release date as November 4? I have a feeling this is when the apple stores will magically have inventory. All of us who "pre ordered" will get ours before retail availability most likely.

Not listed on Best Buy Canada site yet. IMO, ever since the Apple watch, shipping times has been slower than crap dropping from a stick. Before that, shipping times were fantastic.

It could be, or Apple Stores could just be getting priority in shipments/stock since it's their own product which would see them in their own stores a bit sooner than 3rd party sellers.

Agreed. I think Apple stores will have them by next Monday at the earliest, the 4th at the latest.

As I said in another thread, I called two stores yesterday, one said it was possible they would have inventory Friday. The other just knew about online ordering.

I tried calling two other stores near me and kept getting bounced to the 800 number.
 
I chose the slowest shipping method and it now shows as free 2 business day shipping on my order...

I think that's new or did I just never notice it?
