The Steelseries' Nimbus app is showing a huge list, but doesn't seem to make a distinction between AppleTV or iPhone/iPad.
Where do you live ?
Here in the Netherlands, I don't expect the status to change to prepare for shipment until later today, then shipping tomorrow at 5 PM via UPS.
Same here, and just ordered the Nimbus controller and remote loop just now.
Hopefully something will happen tomorrow afternoon.
Based on some orders preparing for shipping, my guess, and its just a guess is the Apple Tvs that were ordered (in the US) on launch day (and perhaps later) will arrive one weekday earlier than promised. That would mean express orders arrive Thursday and non-express arrive Friday.
I hope you are correct, but I have a suspicion that they will hold the early ones so that they get delivered on Friday instead of Thursday. There are some internal things they will want to have done first, like getting customer support ready for it, and I bet they are scrambling to make the Friday date.
That would also mean that I may have wasted my money by upgrading to overnight delivery, but I knew that was a possibility before I did it.

That is honestly what I think. For example, my controller which I ordered separately says, "originally scheduled for Friday, early delivery on Thursday" via the UPS tracking.
I am pretty sure the ATV will do the same for people who chose the $19 shipping. I think it will go out tonight and deliver tomorrow.
Well it is not like an iPhone with a set release date, so there is no reason for it to be held. Once the carriers have it, they will deliver it. The money has already been paid to the shipping companies.
This is funny - I am monitoring 1 thread about preorders like it's gonna make any difference in the delivery date

I have been here in Hungary for a few years and I literally NEVER received a product on the promised date. I might as well enjoy a nice weekend with my family and maybe they will ship my ATV by X-mas and watch Jingle Bells on it :-D

I tried to upgrade to faster shipping after I ordered and they wouldn't let me. Now I'm glad they didn't. But yes--there was always a chance they would under promise and over deliver on the ship date.
Actually, that's very true. I'm letting my iPhone experiences color my opinion, and it just isn't the same thing at all.
I bet you are right, which means mine will be here tomorrow. Yay!

Mine was same, and it was delivered yesterday. well ahead of schedule. (Reference to the Controllers via standard shipping ordered on Monday)
I only ordered my controller and loop this morning. It would be nice if they arrived earlier, but they'll arrive next week so it's not a bigger for me.
