Mine are still PFS, I think it will make it Friday or maybe even Thursday for my overnight order.
On a side note do you guys really feel like the strap it worth it? Reminds me of the Wii. I have no kids, I have a hard time believing this would fly out of my hand lol.

ill make this decision once I have the ATV and the apps to play with, you might not need it all!

A month later and we see a post from Appollonian creating a thread, "broke my tv using the new Apple TV."

I have kids and had a vision of it flying out of one of their hands into the tv so I immediately ordered the strap. Parental intuition. If I didn't have kids I wouldn't have ordered it.
I'm in California as well. Mine went to Preparing for Shipment this morning. I ordered at 9:15am (next day shipping).
In my case, since I live in Canada, if there's any chance for a Friday miracle delivery, the status needs to change to Shipped today.
It's probably because I added a last minute message on mine. What was I thinking!?

<raises hand> Ordered a 64GB on the 26th, confirmation is timestamped 1246 GMT, still says "Processing Items" and "Delivery: 30 Oct - 3 Nov by Standard Shipping"
I should really learn to stress less about this as they've never let me down yet...

There are still a few people with in process.
Remember most things don't dispatch until the day before, so you really from now until late Thursday night for it to dispatch for a Friday delivery.
I know, its a great app I've been using it for years as well and its dashboard widget before that. I was saying that in reference to munky asking if anyone had been able to find a tracking number. With previous pre-orders its been possible to find your tracking number early by searching ups or fedex via a reference number either to your order number or phone number if it was an iPhone purchase.
True! Haha, that would definitely suck. I just want it to be here on Friday so I don't have to go to work on Saturday and sit there waiting for a package.

Just a word of caution, glimmer of hope with the status thing on Apples pages. Remember in the past that in a number of cases the order page has shown Preparing For Shipment when it is already on a truck and that tracking numbers are often late (as are shipment status updates) in updating there. Apple likes to keep you wondering
With recent 6s shipments same thing was seen. Preparing For Shipment yet when you used the backdoor tracking method (UPS tracking by reference number and using your cell phone number of the unit) it showed already on a truck and working its way towards you.
Just thought I'd mention it. Hopefully we all get these on Friday !

Just a heads up, the apple tvs will be available to purchase in store on Friday in the US.
So I'm still hoping that the people who chose standard shipping will be able to get theirs on Friday.
