I did not like the Apple Watch pre-ordering/release and this one too. Apple asking $17 for expedited delivery for Oct 30 delivery. They might have lot of units from China by now. They should have made standard Oct 30 for everyone with free shipping. Store availability is also unsure, iPhone 6s release was completely fine.
they should of gave us an option to pick it up at the store
My Apple order status still says preparing for shipment, but I was able to view it in UPS earlier today(I went with default S&H). A couple hours ago it was saying that a shipment label had been created but that UPS still had not received the item. I just checked a few minutes ago and now it says :
I ordered the 64GB model - my order time was Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 8:23 AM(CST). Ah well, I'd hoped I would have received it on Friday after seeing it going PFS as early as Wednesday. Guess I'll have to wait until Monday.

Well, I'm losing hope again. I found mine on FedEx by reference earlier this afternoon and it was schedule for delivery on the 30. All that is the same but it still just says "label created" and I have gotten no notifications from Apple, still says PFS on Apple.com.
I'll be requesting a refund for my overnight charge if I do not get it tomorrow, especially with so many standard shipments being delivered. Probably won't get it but, I'll ask anyway.

Finally saw my shipping notification (Apple) showing 2 packages via UPS. Neither have updated in the UPS system yet with date. Apple shipment email says Nov 2nd

On my break and figure I check UPS with the tracking # I got from Apple (shipped) and UPS still says tracking # not found. Weird.
Just says coming soon on the US Best Buy Site. nothing about the new Apple TV on the Canadian Best Buy Site. Doesn't look like it will be in stores tomorrow.

I saw post some people are getting from Fedex. This time I guess Apple multiple shipping carriers.
I've owned an ATV2 720p and ATV3 1080p for years, using both overseas (Germany and France). Unlike the Roku, as long as my iTunes was tied to a US account, I was able to get all my US content. It was a lifesaver and served me well. Can't wait to hook an ATV4 up to my new LG OLED which is also 1080p and enjoy the new remote, apps, games and undoubted expanding content. Should be quite an efficient an upgrade. I ordered my new 32G model on Mon, Oct 26, 2015 at 6:30 AM(PST) and sure it will be worth the wait.
mine has finally shipped. wont get it till next week. seems a bit pointless to pre-order if i could waltz into the store tomorrow and pick one up before the pre-ordered one arrives.

UPS tracking # works now. Doubt i'll get it tomorrow (wasn't expecting to). Status at order processed: Ready for UPS. No location yet.
