Actually I remember I tried cancelling an order a couple of months ago for an iPhone 6 silicone case once that was prepared for shipment and I was told through their chat service that it was too late for me to cancel. And I also made a return recently and as far as long as I can remember, return shipping labels have always been provided free of charge. So you shouldn't have any problems even if they do end up shipping.

I ordered 3 64 GB Apple TV's at 9AM on Monday. They've been preparing for shipping since Tuesday. I just ordered them all for pick-up from the store and will cancel the ones that I pre-ordered. This is the first time I've not received something on release day when pre-ordering through Apple. A little surprised

Ordered two ATV4s... one after the other via the Apple Store app.
Oddly, one is being delivered via UKMail (currently stop 1 of 38 - but due 14:13 to 15:13) and the other via DPD (14:22 to 15:22)

The van's will be fighting each other up the narrow road here to work :D
 
Ordered at 10:30AM EST on Monday and I'm still preparing to ship with Apple. Guess I'll visit a store today. Thats a little frustrating. Apple Canada shipping feels really behind compared to the rest of the world this time.
 
Interesting how EU gets theirs before domestic US. :) Truly a logistics screwup and I didn't even say that about the Apple Watch rollout!

At this rate I'll get mine at the mall tomorrow when I'm there for other reasons and return my two when they bother to show up.

I'm in the same boat in the east coast. Might not just be a Canada thing.
It's absolutely ridiculous how bad this ordering experience has been. Sachs two of the way customer service has been no help and gave contradictory information.
 
You should be able to cancel your order either on-line or by calling them.

Yeah that's my plan. Once they open I'll cancel my preorder and get one in store.
