For those curious, my Apple TV (4th gen) now shows up w/ serial # on my support profile page. Time to get excited 
UPS now shows Delivery Friday. Although it says original delivery date was Monday. NYC. Order Monday Noon. 32GB free shipping.
Cool. My package is apparently in Burlington, ON. Which is a good thing since I think that's where my apple watch was before it was put on a plane and sent to Edmonton for delivery. I think a lot of people will be happy tomorrow.
Did your tracking number update with the location? Mine hasn't changed from: A UPS shipping label has been created. Once the shipment arrives at our facility, the tracking status--including the scheduled delivery date--will be updated.

In store pickup is now an option. My preorder still says pfs so I placed an order for pickup at my local store. I'll return the first one as it likely won't be here until next week.
It's like your own media server. Most popular format is MKV. You need a lot of hard drive space if you want to back up your Blu-Ray movies. Very popular.

Woke up on the 26th to order my Apple TV. Only to find out I had a Nov ship date. Woke up tonight, ordered another one for in store pickup for Friday the 30th. Go figure?!? So I will be picking up this one at the Apple Store today sometime. I will just refusing shipment on the one ordered on the 26th next week. I'm happy though. By Friday night I will have my new toy!

Came to the conclusion that DHL is the worst. My ATV4 made a detour via Brussels to Amsterdam. Now their site indicates monday end of the day. What happened ? Apple's email last night said no later than today. Feel confident to made some phone calls and force service people incl. Apple into their "how to deal with angry customers" mode.
Plex is essential if you have your own collection, I highly recommend you look into it, it's the best thing since sliced bread. It was something I really missed on ATV 3
will check it out. one of those things on the list of stuff to do is rip all my DVDs and put them on a HDD so plex is something I'm gonna need. cheers!
if it has not shipped yet call apple they will give you a refund and stop the order from shipping
A lot drive space.... Indeed. Plex is what brought me from a 2tb portable drive to a two-12-bays nas setup....... Be careful with plex lol.
mine in stuck in preparing for shipment too. I am going to call first thing in the morning for a refund and cancel the order and go the apple store to buy one.
Actually I just remembered I tried cancelling an order a couple of months ago for an iPhone 6 silicone case once that was prepared for shipment and I was told through their chat service that it was too late for me to cancel. And I also made a return recently and as far as long as I can remember, return shipping labels have always been provided free of charge. So you shouldn't have any problems even if they do end up shipping.
