Concord is the receiving center for the GTA (and Alberta too, apparently). It's up at Jane & the 407.
I don't have time to deal with this bull[insert poop emoticon here]. I called Apple this morning, cancelled my order and complained about their service. The lady cancelled my order and gave me courtesy-credit-for-the-trouble towards my next Apple purchase. I went to my closest Apple Store and bought one off the shelf. It's all good now.
I was thinking the same. They say they deliver until 7 so we'll see. I'm in a condo right downtown so we'll see if I get lucky. Will keep you posted.
Think its for all the Canada, especially those going by truck. Wouldn't be surprised if its going by horse & carriage from Concord to the West.
I'm in Scarborough, but my status is still "Order Processed" so I really am not expecting it tonight. Happy I got one at the store earlier...
I was tempted after calling around and realizing they were available in retail Apple stores. I've got to work all weekend which is why I didn't bother. Hope you're enjoying it so far.
Yeah and there is so little information, I thought it would be better to be prepared... that being said, I don't know how much money that early Boy Scout indoctrination has cost me over my lifetime.
I want to mention that I was going to order online, but there was a large window that the AppleTV could have been delivered inside of, so I decided to make a trip to the store to get it. Glad I have a store that is 15 minutes from work.
Think Tim Cooke needs to get rid of Angela Ahrendts and get someone who has background experience on running an online store revamp on how they ship online orders out.

Yeah, I'm not really happy about it and I'm going to put a call in on my drive home and let them know.
It's not that I have to have it right now. I'm going out of town this weekend and won't even use it. It's that I paid for a service that they just ignored.
Got my ATV4 and loving it. Got to try it out while at work on the projector in my office and wow does it look impressive. I think apps are going to blow this thing up like crazy. I think I underestimated the gaming potential as well. It not a console gaming box replacement, but my 7 year old twins are going to get tons of use out of one of these. I'm going to pick up another one for them at Best Buy today!

It is unreliable at least FedEx can be in my experience. I was to receive an Amazon item on one day shipping a few weeks ago and all day FedEx's site said I would receive the item by 8pm--never got it until the next morning. Amazon refunded my one day shipping I had paid extra for, but still I was annoyed that the site just didn't tell me that it would be arriving the next morning and not say "Arriving by 8pm" all day long past 8pm that night...Their tracking should be more reliable than that.
PFS here. Ordered a 32, a 64 and a Nimbus with confirmation email coming in at 11:17AM EDT on Monday the 26th. I paid for Next Day shipping. Received the Nimbus on the 27th. Still PFS on the 2 ATV's. Pittsburgh, PA area here. I probably wouldn't have paid for expedited shipping if I had known that it wouldn't even ship by today.
Had my shipping refunded; it will be here in the same timeframe as free shipping, and they can't redirect to in store pickup since I used gift cards. They cannot issue a new store credit, they have to refund the original gift cards, which will take 3-5 days, and then I'll have a useless apple gift card laying around #FirstWorldProblems.
I got it all set up (aside: typing in passwords is even harder now, as Apple screwed up the text entry interface and you can no longer connect to it from an iOS device with Remote.app) and ended up bingeing The Walking Dead, trying a few apps. When Mini-Me got home from school, we played two-player Crossy Road for a while, and now he's watching Gravity Falls from our server. I also tried using HDMI control (turns the Sony TV and receiver on and off and controls volume) Bluetooth headphones (they immediately mute the receiver audio when turned on, and the volume control on the remote controls headphone volume-very nice). Siri cannot search your local content, which is a bummer, because I have a lot.
I picked up mine, locally, today as well. Beats waiting till next week on that pre order.

Walked into Best Buy after work and they had them on the shelf. Grabbed one and walked out. Will return the shipped one to Apple sometime this week.
When I pre-ordered, I expected it to be here on the first day, like every other time I've ever preordered in the first 20 minutes of an Apple product going on sale. Apple didn't lead me on, they said it wouldn't deliver until next week, so tomorrow is good news. But, I'm an early adopter. If I had thought I could just easily get one on day one, I wouldn't have even bothered.

If its FedEx Home Delivery, you may well get it tomorrow as they deliver Tuesday thru Saturday (instead of Monday thru Friday).
Right? It's quite annoying to see people getting theirs today and hearing about them being in stock in the stores and still seeing PFS...
Yea.. I just chatted with Customer "Service" and all they did was try to blow smoke up my a$$!
