It's an odd show but it gets you glued to see what will happen. I wished it was only one season so we can figure out the outcome. I guess that's the point. lol

its intrguing but...

its gotten really repetitive with corporate parties, and hallway shuffles and stuff...

is it ever going to get more intriguing or just remain in a while loop?

Ill keep watching anyways

Also- Is Adam Scott looking haggard these days or did they make him appear that way for this role?
I think it's just the lack of a beard. He looks way rougher without it.... and I'm sure that was their intent. His character is not having a good time of it.

He is a strange looking dude hahah

But yeah probably is just for the role

One or two people said it’s called aging

I dunno it’s vague

I’m happy for this. Question, did anyone notice a wall plaque of what looked like Lenin on the first episode when he was walking through the plaza?

Ever hear of a period or a comma or a punctuation mark of any kind because punctuation marks really make sentence make more sense even if you don't understand the sentence or the sense it's trying to make and sometimes that is the best sense to make is when you can actually infer what the author is trying to say...

I admit that I was in a hurry but get back to me when you have to juggle three languages in your head at all times!(Spanish, German, English)

I am only 1/2 way through the available episodes, but this show is spectacular. Worth subscribing to AppleTV+ just for this show....well worth 50 bucks.

For real. My coworker told me Ted Lasso was in her top 10 shows ever and I HAD to watch it. I watched both seasons and chuckled maybe 4 times. Felt almost nothing. And Lasso's awe shucks persona got old quick. 5/10
That's interesting that you brought Ted Lasso while talking about Severance. Ted Lasso is designed to make you feel good. Severance is designed to make you feel bad. Yes, it has a stellar cast, beautiful photography, intriguing storyline, great direction, but with the limited time I have to invest in watching TV, I'd rather feel good after doing it.

Servant gets better. Season 3 is more enjoyable.
We stopped watching with 2 episodes left in Season 2. I really don't think I will pick it back up. The situations just kept getting more ridiculous, again without the reveal/payoff it was building up to (from my perspective anyway).

Severance on the other hand seems to want to reveal the secrets a little at a time and is not just a never ending tease for something to be explained.

This show made me buy maracas, Friday nights will never be the same

Tramell Tilman Is bonkers in this scene. A thing of nightmares

Apple today announced that it has renewed the critically acclaimed workplace thriller "Severance" for a second season. The announcement comes just a few days ahead of the season one finale, which will be released this Friday, April 8 on Apple TV+.

The sci-fi series, created by Dan Erickson and executive produced by Ben Stiller, revolves around a mysterious company named Lumon Industries, whose employees cannot recall any memories about their personal lives while they are at work. Likewise, once the employees leave the office, they cannot remember anything about the workplace.

Apple TV+ does not release viewing figures, but "Severance" appears to have become one of Apple's more popular series since it premiered in February. The series stars Adam Scott, Patricia Arquette, Christopher Walken, and others.

"Thanks to creator Dan Erickson, the brilliant Ben Stiller, and an incomparable cast and crew, 'Severance' has imagined an existence that's equal parts riveting and enthralling as viewers around the globe can't get enough of these rich characters," said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV+. "We're excited to go deeper into this wholly unique world and unpack more layers of Lumon in season two."

"It's really exciting to see the response from people who are loving the show — and the level of fan engagement," said Stiller. "It has been a long road bringing 'Severance' to television. I first read Dan's pilot over five years ago. It has always been a multi-season story, and I'm really happy we get to continue it. I'm grateful to our partners at Apple TV+ who have been behind it the whole way. Praise Keir!"

Honestly one of my favorite new shows

Surprise, another great show on Apple TV. My 5 dollars a month is definitely rewarded. I wish I could say that about the 20+ from Netflix.
I cancelled netflix for Hulu, disney+, paramount+ (for 3 months with the first anniversary promo pricing), and apple tv+ for $1 more, and I am not looking back.

One of the best shows on any channel. Apple tv+ is really releasing a lot of good stuff nowadays. Pachinko and the spy series Slow Horses were also recently released. Tehran is about to return, etc.
I keep netflix mainly for all the kid cartoons without ads. In my own limited time, i much more often watch an apple series than a netflix series. They are competing more with hbo, quality-wise.
Exactly, the only time I actually have enough time to watch anything is on Friday nights. Severance, WeCrashed (digging this one a lot as I didn’t know anything about WeWork story), Slow Horses, etc new episodes are out and ready to go.

Honestly, the best $5 spent for me. Gotten used to the fact that I don’t need 3000 shows and movies that I’ll never be able watch, just those 3 or 4 high quality ones to deal with at the end of the week one episode at a time.

Really enjoying my :apple:TV+, especially since I seldomly watch TV, and not having lots of content doesn't bother me at all.

I really liked The Morning Show, I enjoyed Ted Lasso (not loved, but enjoyed), I ADORED Tiny World, I'll love The Earth at night (in colour), Severance and whatever else will come.
I'm also curious about Foundation and For All Mankind.

At my pace, the :apple: catalogue is enough.

The only thing I envy Netflix for is Better Call Saul, for which I'll 100% pay a month of Netflx.
But than that's it.
With Prime Video, I mostly pay it for the shipping experience, but surprisingly there are lots of italian films there. (I'm italian)
