It's been an interesting experience. I'm sure it's done thing but feed the deniers, which is really sad. I mean as if the kooks need any more encouragement to believe a mindless conspiracy theory.

I also have no idea what season I'm in at the moment. *shrug*

lol
The original cast are all gonna be in their 80s for season 4. Oldies in space!

The first half of the first season were the best episodes. I found season 2 a struggle and never managed to get through it, even though I really like the concept. But I guess someone must be watching it because they keep renewing it!
Phew, I'm glad I'm not the only one. Loved the first half of season 1, it was full of sci-fi excitement. But then it started turning into another one of those part emotional soap opera, part Apple white-straight-man-hating shows. I just couldn't even be bothered with season 2 and beyond.

Similar happened to Ted Lasso. Season 1 was the best TV series I've ever seen, brilliant writing. And then season 2, wow, what a flop, it lost all its punch. I will watch season 3, simply out of hope, and out of respect for season 1, but I can't say I'm feeling positive about it.

The logical inconsistencies and impossible physics of season 3 might have been tolerable if the personal dynamics hadn't turned into a soap opera. My wife is getting annoyed by my saying lines ahead of the characters because the dialog is so obvious. I realize I'm in the minority here, but I can't watch any more of this.

This show is why I have kept ATV+ subscription. I will be a downer though and claim it should have ended with a colony on Mars at the end of series three. No series4.

Keep a show going too long and the writers run out of ideas, it descends into soap and lame political statements about modern concerns (always a risk with Californians) and the ratings drop off until it dies a sad, pathetic death. Keep the story tight, and end it when complete. Start again with a completely different story.

Think about how sad and drawn out the end was of The Big Bang Theory.

It'd be nice if the next season jumps ahead in time again and shows that in this alternate timeline India becomes a space power, instead of China. Or China, but in this timeline China is a democracy for some reason.

Great to hear

I just watched the latest episode and I was wondering if S4 had been confirmed or not already

Lots of room to go here still

As an aside -- I really miss the longer seasons of the yesteryear (like TNG with 20+ episodes per season)

I liked season 1 and really liked season 2. I couldn’t wait for season 3, but it has been a huge letdown for me. It’s gotten silly unrealistic, and the social commentary has gone too far. I’m sure I’ll finish 3, but no way it leaves me wanting 4 right away like last time.

This is great news as it’s a brilliant show and the current season might actually be the best so far, which is saying something as they’ve all been pretty great.

At a certain point Apple TV+ went from being an occasional thing in my house to being possibly the streamer we watch the most stuff on.

Once you get the past the fun altnertatve view of NASA losing the space race with people and issues of the 6o's plus from S1 and S2, it is basically just a soap opera. Story line gets a little thin, but I stilll find it entertaining somewhat. I guess hooked by now. But I would be surprised it we ever see a 5th season, but then some operas never end. LOL

I got done with my free trial of ATV+. Waiting for a few shows to get new seasons to come back. I have yet to start this, but good to hear it's getting another season! Foundation, Central Park, See, The Morning Show, and Ted Lasso are the others.
