Apple TV Software Updated to Version 6.0.1

I'm a bit leery to be so quick to update this time. Last time many people had issues and Apple had to pull the update back and fix it. I didn't have any problem myself, except that it took a long time to update.

I think I'll wait on this one and see how it goes for others first. ;)

Where are the updates and regional apps from third parties, such as bbc iplayer?

So many other devices such as xbox 360, ps3 and roku deliver third party apps on a regular basis, showing true investment on entertainment apps

Any one else's say OS Build 7.0.3?

The ATV interface is going to need a major overhaul soon - it's getting a little crowded with icons.
 
I wonder if slo-mo iPhone videos will AirPlay from my phone now — that's one thing I noticed wasn't working. Seems like my Apple TV has been kind of unstable in general lately, too (AirPlay will just randomly cut off when I'm watching videos from other apps on my phone, like Lynda) — hopefully some of those kinds of quirks have been fixed.

This is why I ONLY buy CDs and DVDs and later burn them. Cannot trust the companies with any digital media that you purchase and intend to keep forever. The lawyers are too fickle.
 
Where is Amazon Prime or CW? When will Apple fix Netflix audio out of sync issue or video stuttering? apple this are important glitches.

Yup. On the home screen, I'd like some kind of separator between the icons I want to see and those that I don't want to see. Or better yet, some way to entirely remove icons that I don't want to see. (And I'm a little tired of the faux "shiny button" look, now that I'm used to iOS 7.)

Also, I can't seem to figure out how to remove movies from my wish list after I've bought them. You'd think they would be automatically removed.
 
apple tv badly needs a new interface and overhaul, would have thought that the launch of iOS7 would be the perfect time. and for god sake, give us iTunes LP's and Extras on the damn thing, waste of time buying these at the moment, not much fun watching bonus content on your computer

Yes, the OS Build Number of ATV usually matches the latest iOS it's based on. If you go to the Settings > General > About screen on ATV, pressing Select switches between telling you the "Apple TV Software" number and "OS Build Version" number.
 
Not successful

I got bricked. "Not a successful update. Please go to Settings-> Reset." I restarted. Now it's only good for an Airplay device. Can't get beyond.
 
I've been having an issue where the screen goes white, then shows a random bunch of colored lines, then goes black for a few seconds. After that, the picture comes back with no sound, and I have to pause/play to get sound back.

For some reason, it only happens when a loud sound is played, like a gun shot. It's like my Apple TV gets scared.

Hopefully this fixes it.
