Where can I watch Serie A or other top leagues outside the EPL?
Paramount+ for Serie A. La Liga and Bundesliga on ESPN+.
Where can I watch Serie A or other top leagues outside the EPL?
Yeah... "action"... Just a bunch of guys kicking a ball back and forth. Not what I consider exciting. Maybe if they added a shot clock to the game so at least there is something to watch. With baseball every pitch is a chance to score or advance a runner. Sure there are moments in-between the action in baseball, but that's what makes it more exciting to watch than soccer, because of the contrast. The constant running back and forth is just so much of the same thing the whole game... yawn...Well, at least with soccer half the game isn't spent watching a player adjust his gloves, his helmet, his elbow guard, spit, scratch his balls, and check his email before every pitch. In contrast, the action is nearly constant in soccer.
WorldwideUS only or available worldwide?
The most important thing for all the Americas Continent would be unifying Conmebol (South American football association) and Concacaf (North American football association):You may be right BUT I hope this small step will open the door to other leagues as well.
From a guy in Argentina, who is tied to 720p DirecTV transmissions, watching football in 4k will be a blessing (even the MLS).
Carlos

This all means few things:Apple says that the deal is a "historic first" for a major professional sports league, and it will last through 2032. In an effort to ramp up its sports offerings, Apple has already established a deal with Major League Baseball, and rumors suggest that it is pursuing the National Football League's Sunday Ticket package.
This is a pretty funny rebuttal.Yeah... "action"... Just a bunch of guys kicking a ball back and forth. Not what I consider exciting. no.People will always complain on something... enjoy what is given.
I seriously don’t understand the need for pushing back on others’ preferences about sports. I mean, all sports have their strategies, tactics, history, challenges etc. This is a pretty funny rebuttal.
"Ya, all these other sports have boring moments, but this one is the boringest because they run too much."
MLB out-earns the NBA, NCAA football and every other sport not named the NFL in the US. So no... MLS is not a better choice for Apple.well it could be worse, they could have picked baseball
I have no interest in your fluffy stuff, so it's annoying to have to pay for it.I for one am glad it's not bundled into the regular subscription: I have no interest in sports and prefer my subscription dollars spent on content I enjoy watching.
Won't happen as there are WAY too many matches in a regular season in some of the nations domestic leagues. Now imagine trying to coordinate international matches in between. The most important thing for all the Americas Continent would be unifying Conmebol (South American football association) and Concacaf (North American football association):
1) It would create a spectacular international club competition, to rival the UEFA Champions League. It would generate a lot of investment and business for a supercharged Americas Libertadores Cup: Teams from Brazilian league, Argentinian League, Mexican League, MLS (USA) League, etc.
2) Unifying Copa America and Gold Cup in a Supercharged Copa America. A spectacular international national teams competition, similar to the 2016 Copa America, but with more teams.
3) If we don’t do this now, UEFA (European football association) will be a monopoly.
4) There would be more Americas teams in the World Cup, And the World Cup qualification would be super fun
Actually, Apple should bid on getting the NFL RedZone rights. THAT would be something I'd pay an extra US$5/month more for during the NFL regular season.Good start. Now get NFL Sunday Ticket and I'll be happy. Especially if the Dolphins make the playoffs while I'm still alive. I miss the 70s.
Extremely likely that NWSL will move to Apple TV+ also after current deal ends. But getting back on topic, what Apple did may open the door for someone to bid on the rights of an entire professional league, like NWSL women's soccer or MLL lacrosse, to be streaming only
And the World Cup in November.Sadly MLS is around the 5th or 6th league in the Americas in terms of quality, the Mexican, Argentinian, Brazilian & Colombian leagues coming first IMHO. Surely for American viewers that root for a home team the MLS might have an additional appeal, but what would really put Apple TV+ in the map regarding football would be to have continental championships such as the Concacaf, Libertadores, UEFA CL & EL, etc...
