sweet, scrolling wallpaper, folders with more icon, a settings quick screen, access to notifications from the lock screen.

Android will never be able to catch up with those features.

Point and Match to Apple, :)

Apple fans 2, Phandroids, 1. :)

Fixed.

Take that android fanboys!

Ha! :D

The phandroid trolls are loving their ginormous 9 year old girl bedroom wall aka over saturated color blinking screen that they feel like threatened by the new iOS look LOL.

Trust Sir Ive!

Very reserved about this. With bright bubblegum colours, translucent overlays and flat icons/buttons, iOS abandons its classic style with high usability in favour of a UI that represents form over function. I can't understand why people must have change for the sake of change, iOS merely needed improvements no redesigns of this sort.

Again there isn't really a hardware limit on direct, where are you people getting this stuff from.

How hard is it to comprehend that certain Wi-Fi radios have certain features or limitations? It's not just an ad-hoc connection.

Unless I'm sorely mistaken, it's my understanding that you will be able to be connected to a wireless network and still be able to transfer a file to someone near you without having to be connected to the same wireless network.

And exactly what ideas copied?

I dunno...the very idea of a contemporary touch screen/gesture interface? (Yes they didn't make the first touchscreen device. But they reinvented into what every platform now has as a 'smartphone')

If you're playing that game. The card-like multi-tasking interface is something MS stole from Palm which was stolen from Safari on iPhone OS. Everyone copies from each other.

You're on drugs if you think that the iphone safari browser is multi-tasking when it's just changing safari tabs, not switching between apps.

Google was the first to copy iOS ideas to make Android. Hence Steve Jobs's vendetta against them.

Yeah - let's rewind history a bit. Apple borrowed lots of things from manufacturers and their OSes before Google. Sorry - were you making this about Android vs iOS (Google vs Apple) or were we just discussing copying in general?

Looks like the mock-up leaks from 9to5mac.com are mostly correct, including the cell signal bars. I see some elements of the yahoo weather app as far as translucency.

You bet it was. Now, just read true comments of what people really think about it. Nice jon Apple! It looks like pre-historic palm held device from likes of Palm.

Icons are hideous.

Everything else is great.
QFT.

The icons look like they're out of an iOS mockup on South Park... Those harsh gradients and garish Fisher-Price colors... is this really out of Cupertino and not Redmond?

At first look, I was not really sold on the interface and differences that are in iOS7. I then watched the introduction to iOS 7 video with Jony Ives and now have a different opinion. It seems much clearer, more functional, easier to use and just all around looking better.

I am now really looking forward to this in the Fall (that and the Cubes brother, the Cylinder Mac Pro.)

Wow such a dumb question!

No wonder why people are unemployed in this competitive world and problem with such guys is to afford the Apple ecosystem. Then everyone knows where the conversation goes from there...........

Want free phone or tablets ? These suckers will want ipad 128 GB, Mac Pro, and iphone 5 lol

This is sarcasm, right?

iPad 3 not getting AirDrop, but iPad Mini... First time I am really really pissed about Apple Incorporated!!! Thx su**ers :*

It's because AirDrop uses a wifi technology called Wi-Fi Direct which needs a newer chip than the ones found in iPhone 4(s) and ipad3. I own an ipad 3 so I am a bit annoyed, but it's not apple's fault that they can't put AirDrop on it.

Of course. Xerox park and all that jazz, but I was just explaining someone post about how it was ironic that someone called out apple for copying android features. Everything is some manifesting of ideas before or inspirations yada yada yada. The real question is how to do get the beta?!?!?

Reminds me of a modern version of Windows 7 (maybe what Windows 8 should have been), mostly because of the translucency.... and I love it. Translucent UI's are awesome, and really do add depth with the modern glass look. I'm glad to see the skeumorphism take a bow and exit.
