Promotion isn’t the same as the iPad if you scroll slowly it will be lower than now we have static 60hz but it will scroll at 10 hz so actually not as smooth
The iPad uses the exact same technology. It varies it's refresh rate also...

I'll stick with my 12 Pro for another year. Checked on Apple's site on a 13 Pro and they would only give me "up to" £450 for the 12 Pro. Not worth it for a less than a year old phone.

Every year they do incremental upgrades and ppl complain that it's boring and not enough. Everyone wanted 120hz display last year but didn't get it, and they get it this year, and ppl call it boring and complain about not getting the other rumored features.

All I want on my phone is touch ID back. In a world of wearing masks, this should have been a no brainer feature. It's on all the iPads power button...is it not hard to get that onto the iPhone??

There seems to be a large improvement in the battery life in the 13 Pro/Pro Max vs iPhone 12 Pro/Pro Max. The weight gain for the 13 Pro is over 1 oz heavier vs the 12 Pro. The 13 Pro Max is smaller at just under .5 oz.

I'll be upgrading from an iPhone XS (not max) to the 13 pro max, what sort of upgrades other than faster speed and better camera should I be expecting?

So innovative. If only they brought out a flip or a fold phone like Samsung did then I reckon a lot of people would be sold on that but I just can’t see the reason to upgrade from my 12 pro max this year. Really disappointed.

Did I read correctly that the pro has a 6x optical zoom? That’s quite a bump seeing that it has hovered around 2 forever. I’d like an always-on display, but the camera improvements are always what entice me the most.

Yes but it is boring? They’re literally not coming up with anything innovative other than a new colour each year and the same design as the previous one.

I have to say the upgrades a regular iPhone got this year were pretty impressive. iPhone 13 feels almost like the iPhone 12 Pro under a new name with some of its better features missing. So not bad!

But now there is a very small gap between regular iPhone and Pro versions. iPhone 13 Pro features don't really scream that pro to me this year (well they didn't really scream that last year either). Sure Promotion is a nice touch and the cameras received a major update but other than that there is nothing that impressive on the Pro version.

BUT as a photographer/filmmaker I have to say that the camera updates alone were excellent this year and make iPhone 13 Pro very appealing to people like me! I have always hated how poorly extra wide-angle lens and zoom lenses performed in darker situations and Apple finally fixed that. So to me, iPhone Pro is definitely worthy of an upgrade just because of the better cameras. Increased battery life is a nice bonus but coming from iPhone Pro 11 that had a longer battery life than iPhone 12 Pro, Apple just basically went back to similar battery life that my current iPhone has. So nothing new there.

The biggest improvements are in video playback. Does the small print mention new tests used 10 Hz battery saver mode on the new screen?

Was really planning on updating my 7s which still works great on all levels, though I might replace the battery. Disappointed there is no touch ID. I will see if I can hold out another 12 months for the 14.

very disappointing everthing, specially the colours. I would have loved a pink phone but not that pale pink.
I wanted a Pro but the colours don't find them appealing either and I see the Pro is heavier than before :(
