Why do they always use misleading camera spec? 24mm f/1.78. One is FF equivalent and the other is not. It's not just Apple but all phone manufacturers.

I’m shocked. I really expected to see people trashing that pill. But the dynamic island thing really seems to have swayed folks, I’m not sure why. Maybe I’ll come around, or maybe I’m missing something. But in the meanwhile:

I’m sorry, did you WATCH the example of viewing a movie on the phone?!? Say what you want, but holy **** do I love the notch now. That was HORRIBLE. That pill thing was so bad, if I was in the market for a new iPhone, I’d wait just in the hopes that it’ll be gone by the next gen.

I never had a visceral response to the notch. But the pill thing? So. Bad. Wow.

I hope there’s a way to minimize it while watching horizontal video, when they showed it, it was my only pet peeve to be honest, because DI was floating in the background with that tiny space in the screen

Very nice software compensation for hardware weakness of the moved notch. Not sure it is better than the notch since space is still taken and that tiny strip at the top serves no purpose but definitely well done making lemonade out of lemons.

The phone looks really nice I like what they did with the software making the "pill" interactive but I'm saddened there's no blue color this year for the Pros. It appears that purple is the main hue for the 14 series. With that said I'm very interested and I do want this iPhone.

The only reason an iPhone needs a 48MP camera is so Apple can get people to upgrade the iClound subscription. I only hope there is a mode where I can limit my photos to 18MP which if I need anything more than that, then I'll pull out my pro camera with a much better lens.
