I’m shocked. I really expected to see people trashing that pill. But the dynamic island thing really seems to have swayed folks, I’m not sure why. Maybe I’ll come around, or maybe I’m missing something. But in the meanwhile:

I’m sorry, did you WATCH the example of viewing a movie on the phone?!? Say what you want, but holy **** do I love the notch now. That was HORRIBLE. That pill thing was so bad, if I was in the market for a new iPhone, I’d wait just in the hopes that it’ll be gone by the next gen.

I never had a visceral response to the notch. But the pill thing? So. Bad. Wow.

On the plus side - I’m a huge fan of purple, so thumbs up! Lol

Dyanamic island looks cool.... but, and most people seem to have ignored this, it means more wasted screen than before. All the space above it serves no purpose what so ever, aside, from, well, being more intrusive when watching video. It's a brilliant and beautiful software fix for poor hardware.

New AirPod Pro for me this year. Going to hold onto my 12 Pro Max another year in hope for a periscope lens and usb-c. I actually don’t like these color options either

As a photographer, the line between phone cameras and DSLRS continues to shrink. Having a 48MP 14 Pro Max for on-the-go photos/vids while using a Canon R6 for everything else will be interesting to get used to! I use a 12 Pro Max currently and feel I can tell the difference between that and my regular camera more often than not. With a 14, we'll see how things fare!
