LOL........welcome the New iPhone Edition

Apple today announced a new iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition on its online store, following a scheduled "maintenance" break this morning.

The new color option is described as a vibrant red aluminum finish in recognition of more than 10 years of partnership between Apple and (RED), which Apple says give customers a way to contribute to the Global Fund and "bring the world a step closer to an AIDS-free generation".

The new red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus model will be available to order online worldwide and in stores beginning Friday, March 24.

I think it's super cool even though I keep my phone in a case where the red would get lost. Also, I'd like to see it with a black face/bezel rather than white. Regardless, there's no way I'm trading my black 7+ for this with the rumored iPhone X/8 coming out this Fall.

I think 10 years after the iPhone and the RED partnership, this is perfect for the occasion .

I finally understand their approach with Mac line! Tim correctly realized that there are no significant margins to be made with consumer desktop PCs. So they switched their approach towards collectors and antique lovers. I can almost picture it: "Classic Mac directly from Apple. Sealed box, mint condition. Own your piece of computing history today!"

The back looks beautiful shame it has a white front. I would have really loved this with a black front and a red ring around a black home button.

I feel the same about the Gold options actually, a black+gold would be really stunning. Wish they offered more options like Moto Maker etc

Great. They got the product tweaks out into the world. Now hopefully invites will go out for an early April event.

If nothing else, the iMac is in need of an update.

I've been waiting for a Product Red iPhone. I run an all black iPhone in Product Red leather case for years. It's a great color combo. This is a beautiful phone.

And so it is after 525 days that I sat hoping Apple would introduce perhaps a glimmer of hope into the professional work space, and once again I was disappointed. I know that Apple was perhaps not planning to release new computers, but I was truly hoping for at least a spec bump for the aging overpriced iMac, a computer now almost two years old with the same price tag as two years ago. So today, I, as a no-longer loyal Apple consumer, purchased the Microsoft Surface Studio, which is a product I would have expected the infamous forerunner of design and innovation, "Apple" to have introduced in the first place. It is a sad day that the once great company has fallen short to a software company due to predetermined ego-determined design thinking.

A red product. Apple, you have missed what consumers need.

Damn. That is a kick ass shade of red. I really like that it's not red bordering on dark pink. Too bad about the front though.

All the Product (RED) marketing materials and products seem to be the same specific shade of red. I'd say it's supposed to replicate the colour of blood given the nature of the charity.
